C'mon dude, your a lvl 28 and you know Bioware is owned by EA now, so of course there is a "Chance".

Knowing EA, it probably will, unless Microsoft still owns the rights to the IP.

The game isnt even in creation yet.

Exactly. I wouldnt be surprised if they released Mass Effect 1 on PS3 a few months before the sequel. Thats IF the game isnt a 360 Forever Exclusive.

Well, if push came to shove, People could always just go on the internet and Read the Story of the first one if they really wanted to.

If I know EA, we will be playing ME on everything from the PS3 to cell phones.

It will be interesting, I'm assuming "yes" otherwise it wouldn't make sense for EA to spend the money to acquire them.

If Mass Effect comes to PS3 with EA doing the porting job, it will be so bad it will hardly be worth a purchase (given their track record with UE3 ports).

If Bioware does it, there may be hope yet. But I sincerely doubt they'll find any compelling reason to make it, and it's my understanding that they've got contractual obligations to make a trilogy on the 360 platform. MS probably just allowed them to make a PC version a la Gears of War.

If MS has a contract for all three games, EA has nothing to do with it. If they don't, we've got a 70% chance for a multiplat release.

If Mass Effect comes to PS3 with EA doing the porting job, it will be so bad it will hardly be worth a purchase (given their track record with UE3 ports).

Come to think of it Mass Effect wont be on the PS3, alot to do with the fact that the first one isnt, it kinda render it all pointless.

How so? Isnt RE5 coming out to the 360 when they have had 0 resident Evils. The same went with DMC 4. Its an easy remedy, all they have to do is have a history of ME 1 during a HDD load screen like DMC 4 or include it in the collectors edition.

RE4 and DMC 3 were on the PC ... its only common sense they would put it on the 360 now ...

That has nothing to do with Bioware.

Except, the ending you achieve in Mass Effect will deeply affect the storyline of the rest of the series. Bioware intends to use your save file throughout the entire saga. Too Human has a similar system.

In an interview with gameinformer a developer said ME2 will look into past character saves and adjust the story accordingly...and if you didn't play the first one then something esle would occur (was never touched upon in the interview)

With that being such a big deal to bioware I can't see it coming to PS3 even though I would love if it did.

Like most people wrote since EA own Bioware and seeing how EA is more into making multi-platform games you never know but also MS might own the rights to the series which could prevent that.

Sorry dude, but MS struck a deal with EA a few weeks back.. but it will be going to the PC, just not the PS3.xX0LDSCH00LXx

If they bragged about GTA4 exclusive content, you would think they would brag about future mass effect being exclusive if the had the rights to it.

I only play this kind of games on PCs, I hate them on consoles, KOTOR and KOTOR 2 sucked big time of the box. The PC is much better for this kind of games than any console.kenshinhimura16

Mass Effect yes, but you obviously haven't played KOTOR on Xbox. Only thing that lacks is the graphics.
