I think I'd rather know going in than be surprised at the end - you tend to think the protagnist in these games is invincible :o. Either way, it doesn't necessarily give away much of anything IMO.
Great tease, though, I think I was most impressed (compared to the first game) with the way that little bit of random planet landscape looked.

I can only hope that it's because that's only a minor twist. And if that's only a minor twist, then damn, I want this game twenty minutes ago. It reminds me of when Konami released screens of Shadow Moses for MGS4...and Snake piloting REX. Would have been way more mind blowing if we didn't know before hand.
Thane is a badass! Imagine a squad of Sheppard, Wrex(or his krogan sub), and Thane. I feel sad though that Joker probably will not make it. :( SparkyProtocol

Although I do not want to give my life for him. When they say Shep can die do they mean credits roll or that in ME3 we will take on a new character.(not that I am going to die :P)
That video shows why the GT community is a joke. I can't wait for this game. One of my problems with the first was the lack of exploration, the variety of the planets (they all looked the same) and it's been addressed.

okay, im calling it: RPG of the generation! Bioware by far makes the best dev videos...so amazing That part with the exploration made my hands shake. Did anyone else notice all of the destinations available in the galaxy view?!?! Not only that, the game looks stunning!!!! Im sweating now.... Why do I have to wait a year?! It looks done NOW!

I DONT like how much theyre revealing about the ending
and I DONT like how they make it seem one slip up and Shepard dead. It better be the most difficult thing ever to grace a game for to make your Shepard die

from what i have heard, bioware is making it painfully obvious if you are going to die or not in the end...Basically, there is a point in the game where you can decide to head straight into he final battle. If you do that too early though, you will die...It will be apparent when you are adequately ready...
