Iv'e been wanting to get mass effect 2 for the past week and a half, and restarted playing the first game again with greater success this time around. I knew that the release date was for 26th of January, but little did I know that, MAG was also the same release date. Both very different games, I know Mass Effect 2 looks great and much better then the first one (keeping in mind that I still really enjoy the first game) and MAG on the PS3 also looks great, that's why I didn't buy COD Modern Warfare 2 for that reason, why would I buy it if I knew that we'd be getting MAG (but, yes off course I have played it through). I have not yet come to any conclusion on which to choose from, I am asking for some guidance on which one I would enjoy more, and maybe this would help someone else too... thanks,
A one-post new member asking rather to get what will probably be an epic game or an A-AA shooter that only stands out by having 256 player multiplayer? Decisions, decisions. :roll:
ME2 IMO will be the overall better experience, but I'm hoping the final retail vrsion of MAG will be good because I'll more than likely buy it from the PS Store if they make it available at a later date.

with all of the MAG hate going on here, it'll be LOL worthy on massive levels if MAG somehow slips out a AAA rating from here. I'm not saying it will, but it'll be pandemonium here if it did, and i'll be here to witness:twisted:

right, so given the answer, no doubt about it that i'd be getting Mass Effect 2, plus, MAG doesn't have Martin Sheen in it, haha. and it obviosly looks more epic, let's just hope the game is as good as I hope as it looks.
Dude, thats not even a choice. ME2 by a long shot. But i guess thats why they make more than one game. Different strokes for different folks. But still, MAG kinda stinks. SOCOM was so much better. I think Zipper got caught up in trying to make the game large (many players) and forgot to make the game fun. I'm pretty sure that ME2 will be nominated by some as GOTY 2010. I also have a feeling that some will nominate MAG for FOTY 2010 (flop of the year). If thats not any indication of what game to get, i don't know what is.

I don't own a 360 but did buy one for a few weeks(returned it)and I didn't care for Halo 3 or GEOW 2 but ME was really cool. This is the one game I wish was on the PS3. Tried the MAG beta it was meh. Definitely get ME2 over MAG anyday.
