mass effect 2-ur favourite character??

one of the strong points in mass effect 2 are the diversity of characters it offers,each one having a tale to say and the game is pushed to all directions with them in your crew,i loved "the assassin",the design of the character,moves and story.what about all of you?

I originally liked Thane, but Legion quickly became my favorite. Dishonorable mention for Jack being the worst.

Thane takes the cake. I knew he would be my favourite when I saw the trailers. Second would be between Legion, Garrus, Mordin or Zaeed. Least favourite would be Jack.

Between Thane or Garrus. Thane is the definition of cool (and he knows it) and Garrus is a very conflicted character, which makes him resonate with me :)
Mordin is also one of the funniest video game characters I have ever encountered. Grunt I also like...dammit I like the whole damn cast :P

But Mordin still wins :p

Female Shepard of course. But on topic, I'd have to say Mordin, closely followed by Thane. But I still dig Tali.

I have yet to understand the love Tali gets. I just don't get it...

I haven't recruited all of the characters yet. From what I have played though, Grunt was probably my favorite character; that guy accompanies me on every mission. However, since it has become clear that I really need to play the first Mass Effect to truly appreciate the second, I won't be experiencing those last few characters anytime soon. Once I complete the first Mass Effect, I'll probably start over with the second.

I suppose that's the power of her character. If people like the character and they can't even see her face, you know that character is doing something right. I also guess it's the mystique.

I am dissapointed for the lack of love for Grunt and Jacob... I found them to be the least Architypical of the new ME2 characters. Grunt is also hilariously single minded in murder, which I find endlessly comical.

Me neither.. I normally cast her aside and ignore her.

I am dissapointed for the lack of love for Grunt and Jacob... I found them to be the least Architypical of the new ME2 characters. Grunt is also hilariously single minded in murder, which I find endlessly comical.

Grunt is awesome. As for Jacob, he was cool. He wasn't remarkable or anything but I agreed with his core philosophy in the game and that made him alright in my book.

Grunt is awesome. As for Jacob, he was cool. He wasn't remarkable or anything but I agreed with his core philosophy in the game and that made him alright in my book.

What I liked about Jacob was his rather unremarkable persona... he's just a man doing his best to be his best. He doesn't have a mysterious past, a disease or a terrible secret. He's a regular guy(save the Biotics I guess), and I think those are missing in most games

I wholeheartedly agree. As a character, I connected to him because he was relatively normal and I agreed with many of his core values and how he viewed Cerberus. Plus, he always saluted your Shepard. Awesome. :)

I didn't like jacob too much because he was a for the greater good type of guy... wasn't really interesting enough.

Garrus Vakarian by a metre long chalk.

Not that any of the other characters were bad... but Garrus really had that certain "old friend" thing going really well - made me worry every time he was in the deep end.

Garrus, Tali, Grunt, Miranda and Legion were pretty cool. Jack is the the worst ofc.

I like just about all of the recruitable characters, although I'm not a big fan of Jack.

I also didn't mind Jack, I just don't think people like the punky-rebel kind in general. She was ok, I also liked Grunt's superiority complex.

Never hated any of em but my pick is in that order.

Jack and Tali are my favorites but I love them all.

I do not understand all the Jack hate. She is one of the better ones I think. You just need to talk to her a lot to get through her walls.

Miranda, Garrus,and Grunt. For some reason I have taken on a liking towards jack she seems like the deepest character in the game.

For me it's a 5 way tie for favorite.

1.Grunt/Tali/Mordin/Garus/Legion

2.Samra/Thane

4.Jacob /Maranda

Jacob is too normal, and Maranda is way too controling.

Jack is my favorite of the newcommers with Samara a close second.
