Kind of....it supposed to be light hearted, but bittersweet. What a cheesy-ass trailer.
Day 1.
I hate this DLC with all my heart since it is literally the last new content I will ever get for Shep and the crew.
Â
In saying that I still can not wait to play it.

The best gaming series ever has come to a end
Time to give Shepard a big send-off, huh?
Controversies aside, Shepard's trilogy of Mass Effect is great, and has definitely left its mark on this gen. Let's hope Bioware can deliver in full with this DLC, and end this all with a bang!
Oh, and I really like the trailer, it may feel cheesy, but I'd say that's exactly what they were going for, a fitting way to "end" a space opera. It simply works!
Looks a little cheesy, but I have hopes. I doubt they're going to half ass the last Shepard trip. Hopefully it'll turn out good.
Just waiting for that sweet dlc bundle since this is the final one. So I can get all the dlc then my second jump in ME3 will begin again.
Its not bad, its intentionally corny. This DLC will be a mix of corny and more somber moments. However, actually the writing (more specifically the dialogue) got better as the series progressed. ME1 had the worst dialogue. Was the writing always this bad and I just didn't notice it before or did it get way worse?

Good.... Fans wanted this...especially more of the ME2 squadmates.Looks heavy on the fan servive. I'll wait.Â

Should wait for the goty edition, way overpriced atm. Led_poisonNo it isn't...it is the largest DLC this console generation...so large that 360 users have to download in two parts...its near 4 GB.

Fuh, I felt the same way when I finally beat mass effect 3 a couple of weeks ago, honestly I'd be content if bioware just perpetually made mass effect games. They are really something special.I hate this DLC with all my heart since it is literally the last new content I will ever get for Shep and the crew.

it's supposed to be a lighthearted showing for the last ME3 content ever
Will that damn thing ever crash?!
It did, didn't you see the ending?
Please...... Matter of fact, you are in the minority...Merizan basically confirmed that the majority did not want further post ending DLC. Its the "silent majority" phenomonon.Hmm...ending's still the same? Yeah? Okay, still not buying any DLC.

Any statician or pollster knows that internet self selecting polls are worthless. If we went by these polls, Ron Paul would have been the Republican Nominee, not Mitt Romney. Ron Paul dominated internet polls. I would trust Jessica Merizan's scientifically done market research over crap internet polls with self selection sampling.

The f*ck!
Merizan has no idea what the f*ck she talks about, she is at the bottom of the Bioware food chain. Many of the stuff shes said was downright wrong and misinformed.
There was no "scientifically done market research " just a random person spewing cra.p. Cause we never saw the result. The burden of proof is on them to SHOW the people the VALID RESULT. Which they have failed!
Â
Internet poll >>>.Fictional non existant poll
This is what I say too. Trailer sucked. However, the BSN reaction has been positive...and its something. Bioware through this DLC is given fans what they wanted....more time with the characters, especially ME2 characters. More fleshed out Jack romance, a better send off of Thane (hell, the writers even admit they could have done better an dthe DLC was a chance to), a more expansive Citadel, and Collectors in single player (in the arena). This was Bioware listening to its fans.meh.

Companies run internal and confidential market studies all the time...I guess you are ignorant of business. Merizan says she cannot show the numbers or her methods because its confidential. Actually I am pretty well versed in business, But its is far from confindential if its a positive thing. Mass Effect 2 and 1 gave a statistic list of number people of who romanced who, and who were best recieved. The number of people who killed Wrex etc.
Â
This is why Liara and Garrus has more content cause of the fanbase, also why Garrus and Tali is romancable. This is also the reason why Lair of the Shadow Broker was created cause many Liarafans were outraged by the developement in Me2. Bioware studied the reaction and gave a DLC for the fans with the second largest fanbase, first being Garrus.
Â
In this case they haven't said anything nor gave any response to the ending fiasco cause the majority HATED it. So unless like in me2 where we got statistics unless we get statistic any comment by Jessica Merizan is worthless. Like many of her comments after ME3 came out. Common business sense dictates that to not show a negetive statistic to public.
Â
Like I said EVEN and Existing internet poll >>> Fictional non-existant poll.
Both silent and vocal majority of people hated it. Again if you had ANY understanding of statistics you would not have made this comment. For every person who votes there are 7 more people who donot vote.
Nothing proves this otherwise.
Â
The silent majority never existed in this case.

Â
Wow, you are blatantly wrong. The ME1 and ME2 data can easily be discarded...not everyone plays online and it was not a true scientific sample. Nevermind it was from gameplay stats, not whether somebody wanted something, hated something, liked something etc. Wrong again....Liara is the series dueteragonist....she is the second most important character in the story and the franchise. Wrong again, actually Tali has the largest fanbase.....thats why she is a party character in ME3.....it was going to be Jack instead of Tali but Bioware listened to its fans. Also "Lair of the Shadow Broker" was planned from the very beginning.....some of its prep files were on the disc of ME2. Like I said, you don't know anything about polls in general. Internet polls are simply unreliable...you simply do not get it. They can be skewed by bias, the selection is self selecting which doesn't tke into account an accurate view of the populace, etc. And ME3 ending polls WERE based on propaganda. Like I said, if internet polls decided things....Ron Paul would be the Republican nominee...he ruled the internet polls and had the largest rallys.....oh wait, he isn't, because internet polls are crap.Companies run internal and confidential market studies all the time...I guess you are ignorant of business. Merizan says she cannot show the numbers or her methods because its confidential. Face it, internet polls fail to take into account the "silent majority". I think its pretty clear this whole vocal minority was complete BS, If this were true bioware would have released the data proving showing that only a small section hated the ending and score a significant PR victory. The fact that they have yet to release such information may be proof that the data they  collected is saying the opposite. What I find interesting is this DLC( from what I can tell ) is fanservice it appears to contain an amalgamation of all the requests fans wanted, from Mass effect 2 returning characters to more in depth romances. I actually kind of gained some respect back for bioware depending on the reviews for the DLC I might buy it. I am genuinely for the first time interested in mass effect 3 again.

This is not what Jessica Merizan's numbers were about....her numbers were about if the fanbase wished for more post ending DLC which she told I guy on twitter, who wanted more post ending or ending changing content, that he was not in the majority. And as for the original ending, we don't know, but it was more likely the majority did indeed hate it, therefoe the EC was made. But if Merizans research was accurate, it would show that the EC did its job satisfying fans. Please Log In to post.
