Mass Effect isn't selling at all.

The only time I saw Mass Effect advertised on TV was that commercial with the kids butchering that Poison song.

Who knows, it could sell a lot of copies... the reviews have been great overall and it is one of the most anticipated games of the season.

PS3 owners don't have to worry about Mass Effect not selling.

They should be more worried in Uncharted not selling,seeing as Heavenly Sword and Rachet both sold poorly.

If that's the case, Halo 3 was selling like crap in it's first week, too.

I went to my local Micro Center andpicked up Halo 3 on the first day, no preorder.

So I got myself a copy on the release date and I thought that it would be hard to get. I got to gamestop and they had plenty of copies left. The other night I went with my friend to Best Buy and he was going to use his gift card to buy his girlfriend a digital camera and I went to check out the 360 section and saw plenty of Mass Effect copies. I love this game, but it is as if nobody knows about it.Ilived

Its being shipped well, and well the commercials that about 90% of people will see make the game look like s***. Seriously the tv commercials for it are done so bad, the person that made it should be fired XD.bri360

The xbox 360 has had terrible marketing. People have laughed at me for saying this, but its true. Gears of War, Bioshock and Halo 3 were the only games to receive any good marketing on xbox 360. Guess what? Those are the only three games the average joe even knows about.

I don't care. I'm buying it next week and I plan on enjoying it.

Some of the best games don't sell particularly well (Insert glance at Psychonauts here). It's just a fact of life.

i suppose that's why the 360 has the highest attachment rate for games per console out of all three?

High attachment rate has alot to do with the people who buy xbox 360s. These people know about all the games, they follow webistes like these. They dont need advertising. People buying the wii, mostly dont care about websites like gamespot. The wii would like to play commercials are super effective, especially when they show games like mario galaxy, red steel (and actually make it look good), Zelda, Metroid, wii sports, brain accademy & other games.
