According to this website, it might just be, although this has not been confirmed by Bioware. I hope not, as this is one of the main 360 games that I am looking forward to.

Wrong!
Bioware said that is not the date, no date has been set yet.
There have been an unusually high number of threads recently speculating about the release date for Mass Effect or what rating it will recieve from the ESRB.
Currently we also do not have an official release date for Mass Effect.
Currently we do not yet have a final ESRB rating for Mass Effect.
When we do have either an official release date or when we know what the ESRB rating for Mass Effect will be, we will make a formal announcement and there will likely be a thread or two discussing such announcements.
Instead of posting the same answer again and again, I am creating this thread and stick/locking it to the top of the forum. If I or any of the forum moderators see threads specualting on the release date, we'll close them and link this thread.
Remember, until you hear about it officially on these forums or the main Mass Effect webpage, there is no release date. Everything is speculation. Stay tuned.
At this rate Mass Effect 2 and 3 may end up released on the Xbox 720.foxhound_fox
I totally knew this game wouldn't make an '07 release. It was too good to be true.
It was based on a game site posted yesterday...
When it happens to MGS4 its innacurate and not true unless if its out of the mans mouth himself, yet when it happens to mass effect it is pure truth?
buh buh buh teh mgs4 =(
If it's true all I can say is : **** you Bioware.turgore
That's a pretty ignorant statement. You're basically saying "**** you Bioware for trying to make the game as good as it can be." I can understand people want to play the game as soon as possible, but if you want them to sacrifice quality for your own early enjoyment then you've got another thing coming.
[QUOTE="TheCrazed420"]Bioware's "when it's ready" attitude is something other dev's should adopt.zeeerrr
Hideo Kojima?
Oh, dont get me wrong, they didnt invent the phrase. Peter Molyneux also says it regularly, as well as Valve. I'm just saying that I've played too many titles that we're so close to greatness, but failed to reach it because of issues that could have been ironed out with a few extra months of work.

Thats not very re assuring. A game with no release date, is a game that might not be released. this is nothing to boast about. its better for it to have a tentative release date like JAn '08, than none at all.
