A game of this scale and content is only that much? It looks like I would be ripping Bioware off this coming November. It just seems too good to be true.
Anyone else agree?

[QUOTE="toni_xhoni"]I thought it would have been $49.99! :(emawk
I think it's offering way too much for a single player game at that price.
Is it multiplayer?
$60 is already pushing the limit of video game prices. You think ME should be more? Have you played the game? What does it offer that would make it worth more then $60?Ibacai
The scale, level of customization, multiple paths, and good graphics -- the icing on the cake.
Oblivion should have cost more also.

Do we even know the scale? Yes, we've seen how many worlds but not the actual size. Level of customization? As in your characters skills and weapons? No, these things do not warrant more cost as we don't know how the gameplay, story, or how good the game will actually be until it comes out. And if it does turn out to be fantastic, that just warrants a purchase from a lot of people. Why up the price?[QUOTE="toni_xhoni"][QUOTE="emawk"][QUOTE="toni_xhoni"]I thought it would have been $49.99! :(emawk

I said for a "sigle player" game.
thank you, thats what i wanted to hear.
All games should be $49.99 like last gen. o_o
Screw the HD "special" add-on cost that raised the prices for nearly all the games out this gen, it should still cost $50 because it's a videogame. I say it's supreme milkage on every gamer out there.
If they made the cost $50, more people would buy it because if it is as big as you say it is, then people will get more for their money. In which case everybody wins.
Can't wait to get it for $49 on PC with mods!baddog121390
Great. You'll have two years to save up for the $50! Well, $40 since you just saved $10 by not buying it now. Nice..
Just showing my appreciation for what I have seen of this game.emawk
alright man, we can allagree its going to be a great game.
[QUOTE="emawk"]Just showing my appreciation for what I have seen of this game.IbacaiAnd this is a good thing, I'm just confused at why you would want to pay over the accepted price.
I want to see Bioware do well. I'm just pointing out what a good value this game is compared to the many other signle player games we've seen so far this generation.

Isn't that value lost if you have to pay more? Can't wait to get it for $49 on PC with mods!baddog121390well, you'll have to wait a long time if it's ever released for PC.

Isn't that value lost if you have to pay more?Well, yes. Value is good. The point I was trying to make is that Bioware should increase the price to bring the value of this game near the value of most of the single-player games we've seen so far. In other words, shame on the other developers for charging so much for their less valuable games.
Get off its hog man. Games are way to much money and the bump up to 60 bucks was unacceptable.hazuki87
60 dollars could even be a risk for them. Be glad games aren't even more expensive....after all, it's us gamers who demand the kind of quality that takes 10 million or more in production costto achieve.
uh..... since when did 60 bucks become cheap fora game? Not counting Guitar Hero or other games with added peripherals.
thank you Capcom, for budget pricing RE4:Wii :)

Are you kidding me? They'll make back more than enough money. The price of games isn't going up due to rising develoment costs so much as its going up so Microsoft and Sony can take bigger cuts.

no, I am not kidding. When a game like okami sells 50,000, that hurts. It might still make money, but not enough to justify the time it took to make. That probably happens alot.
It might besafe to say that the game cost is actually less than it's really worth in an effort to sell more of them.
