reading the reviews that has come, watching pretty much every video out. seen almost every picture. I have read the novel. And this game just look better and better. it just looks GREAT. anybody els think this game has a chance getting AAAA?
I'm more hyped for Mass Effect than I have been for a game in a long time but... Even I think it'll strruggle to get AAAA... I mean. Even getting AAA at Gamespot is a real achievement.

He just asked if you thought the game would make AAAA I didn't have to go into detail, another poster asked me why I thought it wouldn't make AAAA but he wasn't being an ass about it so I gave him my reason. Jesus you can't post one word here without someone trying to start something.
ya AAAA is hard too get. but I think they might be up too the job. The story alone seems so powerfull. and the dialog system is just awsome. along with the feeling that you can make a diffrence.. what you do makes a diffrent inn a big way. Is really cool.

i hate this "A" rateing system on system wars. just say it got 10! but i dont think it will happen cus gamespot said tony hwak is the best game elast gen .
Well, it would be cool to have another AAAA game, but I'm not getting my hopes up. There's just too much that can go wrong in the game, which you never heard about until you've played the full retail version. We saw that with bioshock for example. AAAA games are just insanely hard to make, and you only need a small flaw to miss it.
For example, you can pause the game and set your aim while in combat which may take the flow out of the game. They could easily penalize for that.
I think that it will get AAAA from a few sources, but will ultimately average out at high AAA. It definitely seems like it is a more than fitting candidate for it though, no question about it. Put it this way, if by some chance it did recieve AAAA here, I do not think that it could be argued very strongly as to why it should not have gotten it. As the game is looking to be that phenomenal in my opinion.
GS is very stingy with AAAA status on ambitious games. It always seems to me that they have a tendency to pick on small flaws and technicalities that are only really there because the game is pushing so hard to be amazing anyway. Which means true classics often get overlooked in favor of a game that does less spectacular things in a flawless fashion.
It's a bloody shame, because their current AAAAs, except for OOT, are pretty shameful when compared to the scores of other games near-universally regarded as classics.

I think Assassins Creed and Mass Effect are both potential AAAAs on GS. AC had a team of 200 devs working over 3 years to make it, every particle of gameplay looks solid and bug free, plus the animations are superb clearly Ubi have pushed the boat out on this title. As for Mass Effect, 6 years in the making it has gone gold and will hit the stores this very week!!! Bioware IP and apprently they know something about RPGs, hmm. Definately the graphics will kill all other console titles in this field (at least for now) and the gameplay is very sound also, it suits the smarter gamer who likes to actually be tactical instead of "point here, go there, lol w00t FTW Graw iz an great!!111" type of tactics that a child could master in 5 minutes.
That's what thelems said about Bioshock and we all know what happened there. :roll:
I'm expecting a 9.0 to 9.5 range.

"what happened there" you act like bioshock flopped, is 9.0 not a great score anymore?
Bioshock was no where near perfection.
no game has ever been even close to perfection lol, and being great, perfect, or bad is all relative anyways. What cant be denied is bioshock is one of the most immersive games of this gen, and the closest any single player experience has been to perfection.

Gamespot is teh biased? Remembahr? Those flaws are nonexistent to Gamespot. :P Oh yeah. I forgot! Those flaws are really improvements which enhance the game to an even greater degree and also make it the most innovative game in existence! ;)

Its funny I made that post thinking I was quicklyjust giving my opinion on a games chance of getting AAAA and I wasn't going to argue with anyone, but I guess the kids on SW won't except that huh :roll: .
