Mass Effect WONT FLOP...KILLZONE MIGHT!!!

i dont understand all of these threads abut mass effect flopping, Halo 3 flopping, etc.

both Bioware and Bungie are top notch developers with an almost perfect track record.  What the heck makes people think that ME and Halo will flop???

Killzone, on the other hand, is a Halo killer, and will be the most beautiful looking and playing game ever made?...come on sony fanboys, how can ya'll say that ME and Halo will flop when they have amazing dev teams, but Killzone will be unbeatable when guerilla games has a less than stellar track record?

now i'm not saying killzone will flop or that halo and mass effect will get 10s, but if history is any judge, both those things are quite likel to happen.

I think Halo 3 has the potential to flop, but considering the worst game Bioware has ever made, Jade Empire, scored an 8.3 (or something around there), is still a great RPG and was mostly a learning experience (since it was Biowares first IP) I don't see Mass Effect flopping. Go watch the X06 demo, the game looks like KOTOR with real time fighting, more depth and the greatest speech engine I've ever seen. I can't see that adding up to less than AAA.

And for Killzone 2, would it have to score less than 6.9 to flop?

was killzone 1 REALLY that bad? I played it many times and it was okay. What is your opinion? Don't reiterate the Gamespot score, judge it for yourself.

I've never played Killzone 1, but I have played the PSP version of Killzone: Liberations. Liberations was a very well designed game that worked perfectly on the PSP, and showed that the devs had some talent. I don't know how Killzone 2 will be, but after playing Killzone: Liberations I think we'll be pleasantly surprised.MgunHunter

Well the Gamespot score determines if it flops or not. Our opinion sadly doesn't matter in system wars lol.

Perfect Dark owned the hell out of Goldeneye. Bunch more weapons, alternate uses for those weapons and most importantly, AI Bots so you could play with one other person and not get bored after 5 minutes.TheManOfChoice

I approve this post. Perfect Dark was everything Golden Eye was but expanded and improved. So many people didn't give Perfect Dark a chance and don't even realize that its the spiritual sequel to Golden Eye. I can't stand when people praise Golden Eye not knowing about Perfect Dark its one of the blindest examples of Fanboyism next to people who say FF7 is the best Final Fantasy having never played any previous game before 7.
