I have been stuck in the space station for over 2 hours on that snowy planet! I can not find the captain to give me clearence to leave. Not to mention the combat is horrible my god.. Man I had high hopes for this game but it just sucks
I suggest you play something that requires less intelligence--like Gears of War or Unreal Tournament 3. Maybe even Crysis if you are into that sort of game.

ES is good. But ME is amazing IMO. The story is just phenominal. I don't understand how you're having so much trouble unless you just completely skipped the dialogue, listened to nothing and just wanted to get straight into action.
Dont play the combat like a 3rd person shooter. It will get you killed so quick, you wont even know what happened. The skill pause menu is there for a reason... Use it!

Yes back to your 5 hour boringmain quest, ugly monster design, repetitivevoices, caves, dungeons andquestsand linear everything.
The cover system is horrible IMO. But I play much better when I don't use the broken feature. Combat is fun, but is frustrating when the game hitches every 5 minutes.
Outside of that everything else is top notch :) It also has the coolest sci-fi theme out of every video game that I've played.
so you cant figure that out either? i mean when every review just gushes about how much they like the combat and how frantic and fun it is......it makes you wonder

i dont get the hitching verymuch at all, just in random spots, not even battles, so i just find it odd that people claim such major slow down when I havent seen much
I find it entertaining once you have enough abilities. Literally takes classic RPG combat and puts it in real time. I can't find anything that breaks it, just some little problems which are easily overlooked.

LOL, way to read the journals, and to listen, I think your 10 post, and level, have a lot to to with that. Like someone else said, if this isn't your game, there are always others.
If the cover system was like Geow it would feel alot better, cover system feels kind of broken for some reason.xSiKsHoT
What's wrong with the cover system? It's automatic, but not to the extent that you're getting stuck to the environment for no reason. I feel it works perfectly.

You obviously haven't played a Bioware game before, if you have then you would understand the gameplay and accept the fact that it is more of an rpg than mindless shooting.

GG on the not following directions. Oh and about the combat, I think its amazing, truly fun, and there are alot of cool abilities like Overkill and Adrenaline Rush or Boost or whatever it is. :P The cover system works really well, and I feeltruly immersed in the fight when I am in a combat situation.

ES is complete garbage. Bad story, lame combat system, linear gameplay, annoying characters repetive enemies & lack of any depth whatsoever.
