I've been playing it for the past few weeks. Mass Effect is actually 2 minutes and 47 seconds long. Is this what tEh Xbox is offering?? LOL, come on guys. You want me to spend $700 dollars (I have to buy an HD-DVD drive, 4 controllers, an extended warrenty and tip the guy behind the counter) on a 360? And then spend 2 minutes and 47 playing the "greatest" game ever? You see, if Mass Effect was on the PS3, it would have 60 hours of gameplay. The BluRay would DRASTICALLY lengthen the gameplay. BluRay is the key here. When will you realize that developers WANT to create 50GBs worth of unique data for $60? They have 10 years and millions of dollars to spend on making a $60 game!

Mass Effect is actually 1728 hours long at a bare minimum. There are 2 different genders, 6 classes, 2 sets of 3 different backgrounds to choose, and at least 2 different endings. Each combination will result in a significantly different playthrough. So assuming each runthrough takes you 12 hours:
And thats assuming there's only 2 endings and does not include different plot decisions. It is my estimation that to fully complete Mass Effect it would take roughly 1 million hours, not including DLC.
