OK, not sure if this is old news, but mass effect's exclusivity is confirmed, it will stay on the 360 (horray!).

When asked about going multiplatform with Mass Effect, Maziuk Had this to say: "We have no plans currently to pursue that. Our focus is pure and simple; it's to deliver the best game possible for our fans with Mass Effect, and that's an Xbox 360 exclusive. Microsoft's a great partner... and they've really helped build the value of the product and we're proud to work with them."

didnt he just say 'mass effect' is 360 exclusive....?
heres the other thing, he says that they design games that are right for the system. Mass Effect is in large part a shooter, and the 360 offers far superior conrols for that genre. The ps3 simply cant compare.

Cool. It's surprising how many Devs state that MS is a great partner.

Yeah from what they say MS and Sony are day and night when it comes to support. MS treats third parties as "First Party Partners"

It doesn't matter what they say, i'll be playing the PS3 version. Now you Lems know how irritated PSfans get when even dev confirmation isn't enough to stop you from making threads about MGS and FF going multplat.

I think that it would be dumb of MS not to strike an exclusive deal....

I heard MS saying the reason why it not purchased bioware is that this would give them money to make exclusive deals.. Reason MS is waiting for anouncing exclusive trilogy is that ME has to prove it self worthy... MS isnt dumb, they dont want to waste money...

I wouldnt mind if ME wasnt exclusive anymore but I do mind if ME has to suffer cuz of multiplat..

Now that they have delivered "the best game possible", they can focus on a port, like most other Microsoft exclusives (and every other Bioware and EA game).

But there is far more speculation in those two cases, often company from people who work in either company themselves.

I would say MS is the greatest ever too if they were paying me millions of dollars.

This was said in October and EA doesnt take control of Bioware till Q1 of 08 so that basically means Bioware has no clue what is gonna happen. EA can easily start work on a port for the PS3 even though I doubt it. I expect to see Mass Effect 2,3 on the PS3/360. That seems to be the EA thing to do.

Buying the trilogy from Bioware may have been a viable option but buying the Trilogy from the new owners EA may find it to be to expensive to be worth it.

That's the very same answer the developers of GOW would have given to that question... MS wans to sell systems, they have all the interest in makeing pople think it will stay on 360, but ead carefully.... they CURRENTLY have no plans to.. MS (Games for Windows anybody?) is a great partner...

ME is going to PC next Xmas... quote me on that

At the very least it will come to the PC. I actually think they might keep this away from the PS3 though. Still up in the air though.

Tell that to Epic, Bizarre Creations, or Bungie. All of which are nowhere nearly as close to MS as they used to be.

He said he don't know if this is old news but the article he linked to is actually 2 months old. Yeah someone pointed it out before me and i say it again:

And as he posted, they say

When asked about going multiplatform with Mass Effect, Maziuk Had this to say: "We have no plans currently to pursue that. currently to pursue that.= Not at the moment, so maybe in a couple of months?

Most PS3 owners dont buy games and just rent them so bringing it to the the PS3 is worthless and PC gamers won't leave the World of Warcraft to play Mass Effect so we can check that one out

EGM has it confirmed to be published by MGS by a Developer of the series.
