Liked the first Halo, have grown to hate them with each passing **** sequel.

i bought this game the day it came out, played it once and never touched it again. i dont hate but i honestly forget i have the game, i should try some of these mods out some timeriver_rat3117

yah when it first came out it was real dry, and boring. but its gotten soo much better with all the new character designs and maps and its still getting better.

i doubt you even played call of duty 4, but halo is still a little better. Resistance is also good. The ps3s fpses will arrive this year and destroy halo 3.

Lol, yeah, exclusive is the key word here. (Hint hint: Haze, Resistance 2, Killzone 2, there may be others)

Playing UT3 in third person isn't so bad though, it just takes some getting used to. Chief really doesn't look that good, but it's a sweet mod none the less. I wonder if his armor is badass or if it sucks balls when it comes to absorbing attacks.

Killzone 2 will be great, have you seen the gameplay footage. I highly doubt it will get less than AA. Its also been in develpment for 3 years so i dont see how it will flop. Not many games flop after 3 years of development. Also i would have checked ur gametag but it wouldent let me click on it and get a link to games played. Resistance was something special with almost lagless 40 player online. Now the second with 60 player lagless online setting a new bar for online gaming.

CoD4 campaign felt like and episode of 24 while halo 3 felt like a movie epic. Ienjoyed Cod4 SP but it was a little to short and linear for my taste.

Or you know..they are kind of different first person shooters. One is more methodical paced while the other one bases itself kinda around realism?

Its always been a case where people tend to like games based on modern warfare more so than sci-fi. Counterstrike and Battlefield 2 can attest to this.

Thats in the onlie section and halo 3 is very close to it so tht really dosent mean anything :roll:

I honestly dont get the point in even arguing about which game is better. The games appeal to different people where as one likes the more modern setting while the other enjoys Halo's rich sci-fi environment and weapons. One game focuses on intense and a rather short campaign that touches on the modern setting a bit while the otherone is a conclusion to a sci-fi epic.

Halo 3 was a much better game than Unreal TOurnament 3. Sad considering Unreal 2k4 was better than Halo 2.

I think they're planning on ******* things up even more because of Epic's total dedication to console games now.

Im not a PC snob or anything like that but lets admit it, so far the Unreal games as a whole was ALWAYS left better as a PC exclusive than it was being a multiplat. UC2 was great, theres no denying that but it doesnt hold when you compare it to the legacy UT held when it was on the PC.
