Haven't played ALBW but in context of all he says and all I already know, I definitely think McShea is accurately representing the Zelda community.

Outlining the problems of the previous Zelda games:
- Excessive hand-holding
- Restrictive over-world
- Pacing issues

Skyward Sword had all three of these issues, which is why he gave it a relatively lower rating. I enjoyed SS more than he did, but still have to totally agree on that one.

Looks like ALBW is a light at the end of a 12-year dark tunnel for Zelda.

I think he liked it because it doesn't have motion controls.

why does he write articles for games after its been reviewed?did he review this one as well? he should recognize that if he is confident in his reviewing, he wouldnt need to have a 2nd article justifying his opinions...imo he belongs in another website....hes ruining gs reputation

He's not the worse in the industry.. there's a line of people that have to go before him. So if some of those are still around i don't see why he isn't.

Im curious, how exactly does what he writes effect your personal life? If you don't like what he says then don't read what he says.

McShea has lost all credibility when it comes to anything Legend of Zelda related. Get those two names out of the same sentence.

true, but the fact that there is a lot of garbage in the industry doesn't make him any less terrible at his job.
