ME: Best NEW Series this gen is........

I'm not sure, so I'll let you decide. I have it down to my four choices, but I'll toss in the option of over so you can add your thoughts.

My Rules:

1. Must be on the consoles!!! ( NOT excluding PC, but my games are at least on consoles and not PC exclusive, b/c I don't game on one haha)

2. Must be new to this Gen, including characters. (i.e. Galaxy doesn't count, even though it's awesome)

Portal Uncharted and Alan Wake for me.

Dead Space.

I'd say Assassins Creed but they milked it to hell to the point that I don't enjoy it anymore. Also the story is stupid.

Assassin's Creed out of those. Really loved every game after the first.

Mass Effect is ahead by light years.

Other, I'm going for Left 4 Dead.

The Witcher2 im tempted to put on the list to, as its coming out for xbox360 in 2012 which is still current gen for consoles. Its fantastic on PC and actually ahndled very well when I tried a 360 controller with it.

Assassins Creed for me.

By the way, those are good picks for the poll. Probably the ones that'll be mentioned the most.

Still a new videogame that hasn;t been out this gen which is why i listed it.

The books and tv show are great to, overall awesome series no matter the form of entertainment ;)

I'm going to go with Mass Effect. I realize the gameplay and level design is crap and the story in 1 isn't that special and 2 is awful, but they're like guilty pleasuers for me :P

Does Super Mario Galaxy count as a new series? If so, then that one.

The Witcher is also a great choice.

Out of that list Mass Effect is quite easily the best.

Mass Effect at first I was skeptical then I gave it a chance now it's one of my favorite games I've ever played.

Uncharted defines this generation. I am a fan of the Mass Effect world, but Uncharted is the better put together project.

I've only played the first Mass Effect, and the shooting mechanics were definitely the weakest part of the game. However it has other great merits that make it stand out.
