Sorry to say this but someone beat you to it yesterday. But they said (the article they gave) that is was for PC/360, so no idea what it is now. But anyway still good news all round.
Is mechwarrior like the mechassault games on xbox? I loved those games, well the first one anyway. It was the first game I played on xbox live.

Sorta. Mech Assult is actually a spinoff arcade version of Mech Warrior... Mech Warrior has much more depth and plays more like a sim of what a mech war would be like in real life (assuming our tech was that advanced right now).
