Media Create Japan Sales (Aug 29-Sep 4) 3DS Dominates Everything Again

The Media Create charts for Japan for the week of August 29-September 4 were just released, and as expected, the 3DS continues its domination of the hardware sales charts, whilst experiencing a very minor dip nonetheless.

The PS3 experienced growth, and ended in second place for the second week straight, knocking down the PSP to third place. All other consoles brought up a distant rear.

Good 3DS numbers, I'm impressed it's still over 50k. Nintendo shouldn't have much trouble staying atop the charts until Vita arrives.

Grand Knights History is unknown. If you go on various forums such as Atlus (Hahaha good luck they've been pretty meh recently)and NIS America people are pushing the game for localization though. SMT: Devil Survivor Overclocked came out already.

I expect the numbers to settle down in a few weeks. Heil68

i understand when the price dropped happened it doesnt change when posters started posting this message across the forum.

it's definitely not dominating software sales, PSP is.

still, good number for the 3DS, and with the announced lineup...it's going to be huge by the end of this year.

DSO has already been released, even before it came out in Japan interesting enough. Hope GKH comes overseas through.

I don't think GKH will come over.

I'm sure many of these people who bought 3DS are pissed off at recent announcements. I also believe these announcements will result in slower 3DS sales.
