Real solid lineup for a system under 2 yrs old... there is no denying that. Also even if the Switch isn't the worldwide leader in console sales it is still a huge success.

Look all these sheep how happy they are when before Switch get a release were all worried. Now they having fun. Good stuff seeing all happy, i told you so before Switch will do fine ( noone else did in here i guess ) but lets get something straight.

As of now Switch having a pathetic 2018 and having Mario Tennis as best seller shows the reason why Nintendo insists to keep releasing lesser games than focusing on big guns like Sony does. Easy profits, well done Nintendo. You know how to make the most out of simple stuff and take full advantage of your icons powers.

At least Smash is a big gun. Hurry up Nintendo before next-gen consoles arrive. 2019 better be far better because the big bet, as i said day 1, is not if Switch sell 30M or 200M peices.. is if Nintendo will support the system with top games till the very end and not end up in an early life support, like the others did. Sales are there as i said so, but i want more top games up there too.

PS4 continues to outsell Switch globally every month and pad its lead thanks to world class AAAA exclusives such as God of War and Spiderman.

Fact 1: Nintendo considers the GameCube a failure in terms of sales.

Fact 2: The Switch as of my post has sold LESS than the GameCube.

Therefore, The Switch is a FAILURE!

@stuff238: Apologies in advance if that was sarcasm, but the Gamecube has sold about 22 million since 2001. Switch meanwhile has sold over 18 millions in a little over a year. So it's on course to overtake it in a much shorter time frame.

Similarly, the PS4 has managed to sell about 6.7 million consoles in Japan since its release back in 2013. Meanwhile, the Switch is already approaching 5 million over there. I know people say Japan is irrelevant, but that is each company's home turf.

True that. They pretty much just show the chart positions of games. It kind of sucks that PAL won't track numbers since they have access to European numbers, they track the games so obviously they do. I'm curious to see how the Switch is selling in Europe as a whole or breaking it down by countries and having someone else add them up.

However, I'm annoyed at Sony fans constantly whining about it in every media create thread. "What are Switch's world wide numbers?!" I'll laugh when Nintendo proves them wrong and sells well in America and Europe.
