The WiiU seems to be the only one which sold less than last week...for some strange reason.. Guess Japan isn't too hot for it right now, unlike the 3DS.Desmonic

Launch week would always be the biggest. Impressive the PS3 is maintaining such high sales numbers in the face of a Nintendo launch.

I'm pretty sure that the 3DS is about see a severe nosedive in sales. I say that because I just bought one and I've never owned the console/handheld that sold the most since the SNES, and that one just barely eeked it out. Unfortunately, I also own a Vita (explaining its poor sales), which creates a problem as you can't have no winner in the handheld sales department. By my estimation, that means the end of the world truly is coming.

There are shortages of the Deluxe unit in Japan. Please, a lot sites had stories about Iwata apologizing to Japan about these shortages yesterday.

Why do people insist on saying Sony Domination Continuation when Sony is in last? I love my PS3 but those are facts...they're in 3rd. Wii/X360/PS3. Wii U is next generation...it's on it's own. So, again, how is domination being in 3rd? Just gets sooo old...

As for the topic; Good Wii U sales and 3DS sales. Nintendo did well.

I like the vita way more than the psp so it was an easy switch for me, but I guess in Japan it's different since psp got so much support over there.

Yakuza 5 is $100 in Japan! That has to be one of the most expensive games I have seen yet on that country. No wonder they prefer handhelds over console games. They can buy 2 3DS game for the price of 1 Yakuza game. 0__0
