No, the boost from the last couple of weeks was just the Pokemon effect. Next week (as in, the numbers for next week which will be posted two weeks from now) should be higher though due to Yoshi.

That doesn't so bad at all honestly, I wouldn't say that qualifies as a decline all things considered.

What would I play if I buy a switch?

Expect that number to double once Cuphead comes out for Switch, because there will be a lot of broken Switches.

Yoshi will pick that back up. I'm excited for that game and i'm hoping Sekiro doesn't have a significant crossover in terms of my game time with each.

Switch is on the decline worldwide. Looking forward to all the Nintendo fanboy tears when Sony announces 100 Million PS4’s sold within the next week or 2.

It's doing great, but idon't think Switch will ever have the legs a console like PS4 or Xbox does.

2019 just started and this industry already got Ace Combat 7, Resident Evil 2 Remake, Kingdom Hearts 3, Sekido, Devil May Cry 5, Dirt 2.0, Metro Redux, to name a few great games, and the only thing they all have in common is the lack of Switch version. Switch is a great concept, and Nintendo exclusives have been as good as ever, but i wonder when will Nintendo learn (again) the importance of third parties...?

Yet the Switch took over both January and February when those titles you listed came out.

I think I would say is unfortunately the Vita may be on the decline... but it's too early with the switch and many other things....

And who knows maybe the Vita could still make some surges.

PS4 sold more globally in 2018 than Switch. And yeah this year it will probably be Switch outselling PS4 but we never know untill the end of the year.

Yup and other parts. Most people forget about the EMEA area, it's a big market where ps dominates. Because we don't get continual updated sales figures, people tend to forget.

Or just the fact that PS4 is out in several places that Switch isn't. Mainland China alone could have accounted for the small gap.

Could be but it's a fact that europe is playstation land, always has been.

It's mainly the UK that's hugely PS biased. Most of the rest is just leaning, and France is even heavily Nintendo-biased.

I get the feeling that you're trying to paint a narrative where Nintendo is only doing well in 2 countries.

Nintendo is irrelevant for most european gamers. America and Japan are the only countries were Nintendo is influential.

Check out the sales of ninty and ps in europe for the last 2 decades.
