[QUOTE="PandaBear86"][QUOTE="-Wheels-"][QUOTE="PandaBear86"] [QUOTE="-Wheels-"]Wow that's horrible. Once again, a thread that doesn't prove anything what so ever.Samurai_Xavier
My thread proves nothing? This laptop DOES beat console graphics, so that point has been proven. And it IS affordable. Another point proven.
Mind giving me a reason why my thread proves nothing?
Over $1300 is not affordable at all. It only seems affordable to people that don't pay bills, aka 14 year olds and under or spoiled kids. If $1300 is more affordable than $300 than I need to have some of what you're smoking.
Um, I pay bills and I have a $3200 desktop (AUD). I really don't know what you are talking about. Yes, $1300 USD is affordable for a machine that is good for work AND play. Many people NEED laptops regardless of whether they play games or not, so it is okay if its more expensive since you get more value from it. PCs are general-purpose machines, while consoles are watered-down PCs that are really only good for playing games (I would never browse the web with a Wii).
It appears that you are comparing this laptop DIRECTLY to consoles in pricing. I never said $1300 is more affordable than $300. When did I see that this laptop is cheaper than consoles? I only said that $1349 affordable in general. Multiplat games are better on PCs as well.
I have a solution. Buy a console for $300 to play games, and then buy a Dell laptop for $500 for your "work". There you have it, you just saved $500.
Problem: consoles have less graphics, worse online, inferior versions of multiplat games, little or no mods, lack of KB/M, longer load times, slower framerates, no NeverWinter Nighs 2, no Crysis etc.
