Meeting a Gamer Girl Online.....

Have you ever met a gamer girl online?

It's funny, when it's all just guys we hate on each other and act very casual, but when a girl comes in I notice people (especially little kids) being very nice to girls.

Just wondering if you know of any stories where you witnessed this (first hand or second).

Sometimes, all the guys gang up against the girl lol, I even saw a youtube video of Halo 1 where ALL the guys just teabagged a female player.

It's pretty damn funny when I see guys giving Gamer girls special attention. Pathetic, but fun to watch.

o_o I find it pathetic myself. They (guys) always act like being on the team with a female is the closest they've ever gotten to one.

EDIT: xD I found it pretty funny,but in TF2 one girl said into the mic "Heeey,could someone set up some teleporterrrrrrs." Next thing you know we have about 10 engineers setting up teleporters.

Sadly, that is probably the case.

I treat girl gamers the same way as anybody else. They are nothing but enemies in my way trying to stop me. If they're nice, i'll be nice If they are annoying, i'll give back the same treatment.DeadSpaceXIII

One time playing resistance. I swear every shot this girl took you had every guy in the room "Nice shot!" It was hilarious, yet somehow sad. Well, in all honesty, I've met my share of girls online, but I never believe they're girls because...who joins an online game and starts declaring their gender?.....I bet none of you join a game and say, "Hi, i'm a boy"...and I don't expect that from girls either....so basically, if anyone says they're a girl they're definately seeking attention....so i just find them and kill them....if they're really a girl then I still find them and kill them (easy way to build stats lmao)

I do however go easy on girls or let them win once in a while in real life....it keeps things...interesting.

Their names are usually girly, I've met some gamers with ID's like "Gamer-Gurl" "Girl-Power" and stuff like that. And sometimes they talk on mic (this is usually when all the guys are all of a sudden more attentive)

My friend is the total opposite, he usually goes on about "Oh God were gonna lose because we have some chick on our team" "Shouldn't you being the laundry or something"

Yea he's pretty sexist.

This chick in Tf2 cussed at me because I kept sapping her sentries and backstabbing her lol. She tried to get the admin to kick me off the server but we are real life friends so he ignored her and we kept playing and she kept cussing till she left lol

It is quite natural.Since it is mostly a guy affected world they get really pumped up when they see a girl as it is something of a rarity.Plus many of those guys are loosers who dont have the guts to ask the number of a girl face to face so they get all excited and try to charm her online since the girl cant see their face which they are probably ashamed off

Yah I've definitely seen that. Lots of guys, especially young boys, act ridiculously nice to them. Sometimes though, all the guys treat her like crap. I usually try to get everyone to give her a hard time, cause I hate it when girls think that we're all going to treat her like a princess just cause she happens to be playing Halo and is female.Yodas_Boy

Absolutely awesome.

As for 'girl gamers', I treat any gamer the same.

Nothings worse than hearing a bunch of people trying to win 'the girls' attention in online games.

I think there was a thread here recently too where someone proclaimed 'I am a girl, I need help'. Of course people flocked to it to help 'the girl'.

My friend met his wife of 8 years playing Everquest...which I got him into. Funny thing is she lived in the US and he in the UK....they now both live in New York :P.

yeah just recently

I got pwned by a girl in Halo3 Team SWAT (she's was corporal, I am Major grade 2). so I send her a friends request. turns out she was a L33t Halo2 player:P I played a couple of team double matches with her. she's really good

Best ever gaming girl moment was playing Big Team Battle VIP on Halo 3.

When I became the VIP, I chucked my sister on the mic and she told everyone to protect her. I stayed the VIP for the rest of that match. Best Halo match ever.

being a girl who plays games myself im not usualy fond of girl gamers i prefer to play with guys i find theres more of a challenge as guys kick arse in cod 4 haha, ive seen alot of girls camp in cod 4 and some are just too easy to kill, sure theres girls who are good at it, but as i said i prefer to play with guys as theres a challenge thereMiss_Wacy
