Wow damn Sony, way to maximize your exclusive investment. People totally gonna sub PS+ specifically for this game. Idk how to feel, game deserves it everyone should play one of the best title of 2020 but I bought the collectors edition and game not even discounted to below $30 yet or included in the PlayStation Greatest Hits lineup :/. Oh well more fans means more incentive for Square to push more effort for sequel release ~~~

@gym_lion: from japan leaks, the Yuffie DLC is 2 chapters long and cost equivalent of $20. Idk if its even worth the price to upgrade for people playing with PS+, hope Square can show off more.

Nope. Ps+ users will only get the PS4 edition. Enhanced PS5 edition + Yuffie DLC is 3 month away so they could make an informed decision to buy the game and upgrade. Personally, its 2 chapters long... not worth it.

Already bought it glad I get the free PS5 upgrade. It was a beautiful game except for some of the flat PS2 textures.

I bought it at launch, and I still think it's good that it is added to PS Plus. Since the FF7R series is episodic, more people need to play Part 1 in order for SE to sell Part 2. They made enough profit with Part 1, so expanding users with PS Plus seems the right marketing strategy.

I'm curious if MS will pay SE a fortune to add this to GamePass when it becomes multi-platform in the future.

Honestly, this seems like a pretty strong play to get people to buy it more than anything else. They will give you the PS4 version - which presumably runs in BC on PS5? But if you want the better graphics, framerate, and extra characters and story you need to buy it.

I bought this game twice, digital and physical. I want everyone to play the game and I always let my friends borrow it. The more people that can play this game the better cause I want more content to be made for the series. I’m excited for the integrade dlc and I even checked out ever crisis and even that has some potential. I just hope the integrade thing is lengthy enough to tie one over a bit.

@pc_rocks: It won some prizes last year, had good sales and it's highly regarded to users and reviewers alike. It's one of the best games of 2020. No amount of trolling and salt because you can't play it on PC will change that. Deal with it. 😎

I bought it at launch and still haven't beaten it yet lol. Cool for those who get to play it though. It's definitely a super strong month for PS+ games to offer a AAA timed exclusive game that's not even a year old yet. If I remember right it even got a 10/10 on this site.
