Should be a given in 2023 but some people insist on milking you....

For a period Quest and Rift S games shared a lib. They changed that at a later date.

So wouldn't trust them, at all. With any purchase.

If get another headset won't be from them.

I definitely agree about buying another Quest headset.

I have the Quest 2 and barely use it because of the narrow FOV. I want to get another but I dont know what else to get that my kids could also use.

Ok so I just searched google or whatever for top announcement at Meta Quest 2 conferen and got a link from The Verge or whatever.

I completely lost interest and the line up looked whack.

You did a way better job TC and I really like the two ports you started out with, immediately peaked my interest. Might grab a quest 2 at 299

@nod_calypse: Its true, VR's been around a long time and has never been close to mainstream. Heck as hot as Sony was last gen, not even they could get a 5% attach rate with around 120 million PS4's sold.

VR is best used outside of the gaming space, but i'm happy for you to prove anything I said wrong.

@theam0g: that wasn't real gameplay for AZS2. Fake as hell. But I'm still hyped as I loved the first one.

Meta/Oculus users pretty locked into that ecosystem just like consoles due to closed market. Due to popularity of previous gens the new VR easily able to sell.

Unlike console VR, the device can be used on PC.

Probably shouldn't be talking about this, but PS VR 2 has been cracked, so you can use it on PC, provided you know what you're doing. Pretty soon it will be easy for anyone to do...

Awesome news. Really enjoyed my Quest 2 experience. Took it on every international trip I took over the last few years and it's always made me smile when watching movies or playing something like Star Wars pinball or Beat Saber.

Didn't use it much at home because I preferred my Valve VR headset and its superior lighthouse tracking. But will 1000% upgrade here.

it has not been cracked in fact the team that was trying to gave up on doing so.. so no unless sony opens it up to pc it's not going to work.. and sony has no reason to let it work on pc.
