it looks aight, but maybe there will be different boxart here in the states. I know sometimes different games in different regions have different box art. Its certainly not the best as I like MGS2's art the most but I could live with it.
Now, is that the collectors edition down there? Is this coming to NA?
Also, will the CE or the "regular" be included in the ps3 bundle? I'm considering getting a ps3 when MGS4 releases, and i would prefer the collectors edition.

Well this box art could just be for Japan since some titles tend to release different Box art for each area but i can't read japanese so i don't what it says.
Fantastic, it's got to be one of the best boxarts i've seen this generation. The way it mirrors the original Metal Gear Solid boxart is clever, as someone else pointed out, and I especially like how the Metal Gear Solid 4 and PlayStation 3 text run parallel to each other. As always, the Yoji Shinkawa art is flawless. The special edition is looking great too. June 12th 2008, pre-ordered, day one confirmed.
I like it. Looks old school; reminds me of the original MGS. MGS is still my favorite game in the series, MGS3 a very close second. Hopefully this game will become my new favorite in the series.
i see they were going with a throw back look. its not bad in that sense, but i still dont think its overall great. and is that a Coll Ed. i see? i was not aware there was going to be one, wonder what the extra disk is.
that looks awesome. it could've been anything from the Shinkawa's portfolio, and it would've been awesome anyway. I love the rough art style, and I hope that Japan doesn't get the cool boxart all for themselves... again.
