Metal Gear Solid 4 for Xbox 360

l I was reading Xbox Mag. They say Metal Gear Solid 4 will come out for Xbox 360 in the weeks after it comes out for PS3. Your thoughts.maddenfreak411

I don't think an official Xbox Mag would be newb enough to say lies (except on game reviews), but this is not a mag saying something here, it's a random dude on an internet forum.

First of all not a good idea to create a thread like this without ''proof'' or pics of the article as cows tend to attack rivals who go with these types of rumors....Now back to what you wrote.....I can't say I'm happy but it would be cool if it DID come out...Then again I am getting a PS3 AND a X360 so I don't really care:)

If Hideo Kojima says that it's PS3 exlusive,Then it is PS3 exclusive!

If Jack Tretton says that it's PS3 exlusive,Then it is PS3 exclusive!

If Phil harrisonsays that it's PS3 exlusive,Then it is PS3 exclusive!

If Peter Moore (!)says that it's PS3 exlusive,Then it is PS3 exclusive!

The reason why I took 4 examples is because I'm frikkin tired of this rumor. If you wantMGS4 then get a PS3.End of story!

People should be banned if they make a MGS4/360 topic...for the love of god people, it is not coming,.

#1...MGS 4 will NOT come to XBOX 360 anytime soon. The only way that it could is if Konami had two teams for MGS 4. 1 for PS3 and 1 for 360. Problem is that Kojima is on the PS3 project at the moment and without his watchful eye I somehow doubt a Kojima-less 360 version would be as good!

#2...A totally new MGS game is a slight possibility, but when are we talking here? Holidays 2008 at best? Early 2009 would be more likely!

#3...Sony would never let it happen. Sure, DMC and GTA have gone multiplat, but Imo these two game franchises while huge in the success of the PS2 are not in the same league in Sony's eyes as the MGS franchiseis. Sony losing the exclusivity on the MGS franchise would be comparable to the Halo franchise going to the PS3. Yes I know that Konami is 3rd party, but their relationship with Sony goes back a loooooong time!

Didn't Konami say at E3 that they were mauling over the decision of weither to bring it to the Xbox 360 or not...

The only problem with #3 is that MGS sells less then those GTA or DMC, by alot, and it's 3rd party I don't see why sony would care about it going multiplat more then the others.

Nope.

There was something that came out prior to (the Sony E3 keynote) announcement. Our folks have talked to the Konami folks, and until the announcement was out from our side, I think they were being a little bit cagey. But the agreement calls for exclusivity, the announcement's been made, and now people know the real story.
