It's the best game I've played this gen, so I think it's better than Halo 3. But I wouldn't make a fanboyish thread about it...

It's called being rational. I won't comment on MGS4 since I never played it, but Halo 3 really is just another FPS that has a rabid fan following dangerously close to fanaticism.

I would say MGS4s SP is better then Halo 3s, but the mP isn't even close to the same quality.

Even with that said, Halo 3s campaign never took a drastic turn for the worse, like I have experienced with Act 3 of MGS4. The game is starting to drag a bit, and the follow resistance guy sequence was yawn inducing. The boss battle was awesome, and I'm hoping Act 4 picks up where two left off.

To tell the truth, I thought it was quite an anti-climax when the credits started rolling. But the part after the credits was just brilliant, a perfect way to end the series. And the final boss battle is one of the greatest in history.

And Halo 3 beats MGS 4 in both.

Nevertheless MGS 4 is GREAT. So is Halo 3.
