Yes, because the Halo 3 wave lasts for multiple months in all regions of the world on multiple platforms. GET. OVER. YOURSELF.
Yep, pretty much... And the MGS series hasn't ever been a half the system mover that Halo has, and it's only degraded with time.
And me, get over myself? You're the one on a little crusade to nitpick everything you can think of about the biggest game release of the year, perhaps ever."You're the one on a little crusade to nitpick everything you can think of about the biggest game release of the year, perhaps ever."
You're the one that walked into this thread that has nothing to do with the game itself so that you can basically try to get me into an uproar by screaming about how fantastic and overwhelming the Halo release will be. "Biggest game release of the year, perhaps ever!"
Yeah, okay. Opinion FTW.
"Completely lost in the Halo 3 wave" versus "hasn't ever been a system mover."
Do you see the difference? I.E. the dramatic difference? Infinity Ward doesn't seem too afraid of the Halo hype....neither does Epic Games or Ubisoft's Haze, or Turok, or anything else for that matter. You're just being totally ridiculous.
At least I'm not claiming that Metal Gear will sweep Halo away in some blaze of glory, like you are. Dream much?
If you think MGS4 is going to generate half the hype of Halo 3, you're dreaming... Especially considering the system it is on has less than half the user base of the system Halo 3 is on. These games aren't even in the same league for public interest.
Did I say that? Did I imply it? Good night.
