Can this information be trusted? Does someone have a rusty old out-of-date website or is this the news of the GD month?

thats because MGS series had to compete with games like Final Fantasy while Halo basically arrived on a system that had nothing going for it. So obviously Halo was a hardcore system seller.

Nope. It only says "Worldwide simultaneous release." I watched the whole thing because of this comment. But I hadn't seen it with english dubbing yet.
