I completely agree. Thankfully we are getting a FPS that is all about the story instead yet another multiplayer driven frag fest. We have enough of those as it is.

Wow, this game looks great. Hopefully it has a great story, those are definitely lacking these days. Anyone know why there is less than average hype for an exclusive for this game? Especially with the RPG elements, you think people would be bouncing off the wall for this one.

This game definitely look intense and I have yet to find a fault in any of the trailers I have seen. Looking forward to it....Skipper :P

Exactly, and not to mention that it also will prevent anyone from calling the game a bastardization of his work, lol. I am going to have to give the book a read as well when the English edition hits in March. You have already read it, right?

Eastern European games tend to be buggy on release. The pc requirements are pretty high for a multiplat which is also a bad sign. I don't doubt it will be a great game at some point but it might need some patches first.

I'll be pre-ordering the 360 version. I want that shotgun, lol. Besides, I am pretty certain I will dig this game to at least some extent, regardless of reviews.

Never, never, never run a game on "minimum required" specs.

"Here is what you need to run the game as crappily as possible, but still be ableto sayso on the box!"

I had to do a double take on the requirements.

They're pretty high for a game that is going to be on a console as well it will be interesting to see how the Xbox 360 version differs from the PC version. I'd be a bit more hesitant about buying the Xbox 360 version considering the reputation of Eastern European developers. It might have some pretty bad bugs and glitches on release that need to be fixed through patches.

I LOVE FPS with a amazin story. You feel like your part of the story and your life is always on the line.

I have high hopes for this game, a few things I hope:

1) It is as well optimized as DA:O on the pc, those specs are fairly behemoth'ian in nature... But if it playes fairly well on reccomended I will be a happy camper (har har, and yes I know it is sp only).

2) It is well made, outside the tech, as in pacing, story and lasting impression not being afraid to change pace when it is needed, and not some "high speed Michael Bay look alike". I really want this game to be able to do its pacing well, and not rely on just a series of action sequences, it has the potential to be quite deep in alot of reguards.

3) It is hard, as in unforgiving, Fps games these days are all bark no bite, you pretty much have to try to die to suceed. I want the game world to be on your back, waiting in the shadows for when you fuk up, and will punish you for it :P

They must not have much faith in the game and too bad we cant inspect the graphics :(

Yep, no demo is a clear sign of a game the developer has no faith in, and the game will no doubt be a critical and commercial failure:

Halo? No demo.

Call of Duty? No demo.

GTA 4? No demo.

Super Mario Galaxy? No demo.

Mass Effect? No demo.

Demon's Souls? No demo.

They don't even state what "optimal" is. Does it mean running it at the highest possible resolution with full AA and never having the FPS dip below 60?

This game will be amazing. I hate the character faces and facial animations, though. They just look straight up odd.

Yes with 1024x600 or 1280x720, 0-2xAA, 0xAF, 25fps, low settings (poor textures, shades, lighting, shadows, physics).
