Easily one of the best FPS games this year, for the current price, it's a steal... GET TO IT!

It's ok. Very poor shooter mechanically and the stealth is downright broken. But the story and atmosphere are good.

Man, if I was a PC gamer and these were the games I had to look forward to... Well, I probably wouldn't be a gamer in the first place.

I played it on the 360 and it was... strange to say the least. I hadn't played 2033, so I wasn't accustomed to a lot of the gameplay or its general bizarre storytelling and characters.

It only lasts about 7 hours too, doesn't have multiplayer (atleast when I played it) boring levels and story, easily one of the worst games i've ever played

No... even though they're still a bit clunky, the mechanics are a definite improvement over 2033, and stealth isn't broken at all, only, it's a bit too forgiving, making it too easy to stay undetected in most places.

In the whole game, there are 3-4 situations where you can't get through silently, and are forced to shoot your way out instead.

I've got the first Metro, I like the Russian atmosphere.

The AI in the game is outstandingly poor to the point where you can stealth kill enemies by literally standing in front of them in a well light room:

The shooting mechanics are poor, clunky and enemies are incredibly bullet spongy. Being an improvement over its predecessor does not mean it's good.

I'm pretty sure console and PC gamers looks forward to the same games, i.e. multiplats. For example: BF4, COD, Watch Dogs, AC4, etc

I guess I should have taken pictures. We are talking about Metro: Last Light, right? Wal-Mart had it in their bin for $10 CAD. Several copies all with markdown stickers. Might have been a mistake.

Yeah, the stealth has some AI issues, as I said, it's far too forgiving, but the problem is, when you're detected, every enemy near you is on full alert and knows where you are, while it's impossible to hide again. But hey, at least the takedowns are satisfying!

As for the shooting mechanics, I wouldn't call them poor, but I wouldn't call them great either. For me, they're just average, but that could be because I played the game in Ranger mode, where both you and enemies do more damage, so I didn't run into any bullet sponges.

If that's the case, you'll love Last Light, it's a definite improvement over its predecessor, while the atmosphere is as great as ever. When it comes to mechanics, there's still quite a lot of room for improvement before they reach the level of polish you see in "AAA" titles, but still, the game is very much enjoyable. My biggest issue with it was a very odd plot twist late into the game, which made the final hours of the story hard to take seriously.

and what consoles have the next 5-6 months in the exclusive department ? Killzone, Ryse and and and...... Yeap thats it

I really liked the first game but the 2nd game was pretty meh. It had some really bad/awkward story moments and it felt a lot more linear than the last game. Id probably wait for it to go down to $5 some time next year.
