Realistically? I'm most definately buying both.

Which am I looking forward to more? Bioshock, but only because System Shock 2 deserved a sequal way earlier then this.

Which is going to get the better score? Bioshock, but I imagine only by around a 0.5 to 1.5 margin. Don't get me wrong, they are both going to be great games, but arn't you forgetting that they are in 2 different leagues? The only things that these games share in common is that you are in First Person and CAN shoot some sort of gun.

Once again, this is like comparing Apples to Oranges, or should I say a FPS to a FPA.

Hrm, I'd actually put HL:EP2 above Halo 3 in that list, if only because it is coming packed in with Portals, and Teamfortress 2. I don't know about you, but i'm super hyped about the mind-bending headache-inducing puzzles that Portals is going to throw at you, and I love the art in TF2 (totaly reminds me of a Pixar movie, like The Incredibles).

Realistically Halo 3 is just going to be more of Halo 2 (which is a good thing, don't think I'm bashing the game). I'm just looking forward to a puzzler and a real _____ based FPS (instead of just having different guns).

anyway both games cant be similar enough

in both games you gain abilities that you need for progression

in both games you are alone in a solitude environment

in both games you need to explore and now the world better rather then shoot sum n**** (like chae~ warden would say)

Bioshock is going to crush Metroid Prime 3, in sales and reviews. "BU- BU- TEH WIIMOTES INNOVATION LOL"

So yeah, Bioshock.

Both will end up as high scorers on IGN, Metroid will get a lower score on GS. I'm far too excited than is healthy about Metroid though:lol: I'm getting palpatations!groudyogre

I don't think it's a given that Bioshock will score higher than MP 3 here. If Retro delivers something close to MP 1, and I believe they will, this game could easily get a 9.5.

Metroid's an excellent, very polished adventure with a brand-new way to play FPS. Bioshock is going to be an excellent RPG-shooter hybrid. It just depends on what you're looking for.
