Because this game is the only thing that makes the thought of possibly buying a psp cross my mind. If it was available for PSN or something that would be better. Anyone agree?

If you don't know what this game is, it's a sequel to MGS3.... which is also a prequel to metal gear.

1. It'll probably go on the PSP PSN 2. Put up your flame shield before Valkyria Chronicle fans carefully aim and shoot you. 3. It looks pretty good, but I don't have a psp.

I was really disappointed with the Peace Walker demo. It felt like Kojima was trying to make a game too complicated for the PSP hardware to handle. It was just... really awkward to play.

If its on PSP, they must be aiming for Japan, otherwise, its just a death sentence.

It will be on the PSN, every major PSP game is now.

I found it far better than Portable Ops- that had terrible, terrible controls. Bad enough to stop me playing it.

My main beef was that the CQC was too unresponsive. That coupled with having to use the one anologue nub for movement made sneaking up on a guard without being noticed much harder than it should have been.

You're thinking of Rising, and even then that game's position in the series timeline is currently unknown.

Actually, its a sequel to P.ops

Not trying to make it seem like a big deal but it is what it is.

And if the Peace Walker demo is any indication, it doesn't look like it'll make much sense if you haven't played Portable Ops either.

Being a huge MGS fanboy, I have to say MGS: PO has some awkward controls... but the story kept me hooked from beginning to end. Not to mention the fun I had with the multiplayer (online and locally with some friends ). I haven't played the demo for Peace Walker yet though. I have it downloaded and ready on my PS3 but my PSP is with my little brother so I'm going to have to wait until either later tonight or tomorrow to play it. Also, I was unaware that they had changed the controls... they should have kept the old ones since people had already gotten used to those clunky controls :(

Agreed PW is a huge step from PO & PO+. There's no reason to play it again after beating it. And I hated the limited inventory space and the fact you have to switch out players. Don't even get me started on the fact that same type of camo can't recognize you but different can. PW is a HUGE improvement IMO.

It's a prequel to MGS2, a sequel to MGS3 and the official 'successor' to MGS4 in the franchise.
