Kojima compared the two consoles like a trip to the movie theatre and renting a DVD. Citing PS3 as the more cinematic of the two with 7.1 sound and an HD format...he also mentioned the heavy reliance on motion sensing...Then he went on record several times saying he would not port another MGS game ever again.

Fact is....this game is not coming to the 360.

I understand an Xbox Forum mentioned but yeah....this is GS....so if it doesnt come from the horses mouth there is not a need to make 23 threads about it in 9 hours.

First of all that decidion is not up to Kojima. The guy is an arrogant fool and that comes through clearly in his overly dramatic games that he uses to get his ridiculous factually unfounded political/ cultural/ phislosophical "ideas" across.

Ahem... anyway its not up to Kojima. Multiplatform games are generally not as good as exclusives but they don't always suck. And the game is being developed for the PS3 meaning if it was to later be ported there would be no effect on the original. And just so we're clear the 360 version would probably have nicer textures and framerate.  

To answer one of your questions. I don't want a watered down port. I don't even really want MGS4. I played and owned the first three games and Kojima's lost his mind. He makes convoluted absurd storylines for the sake of it and the game is 8 hours of play and 11 hours of over-the-top cheesy cutscenes. I'll admit things got better gameplay wise in Snake Eater but even then the dialouge and plot got worse. The guy's in love with himself and as I said before arrogant.

If Kojima leaves Konami then he looses his only franchise. He works for them, not the other way around. And I'd pray if I had a PS3 that Kojima didn't ruin Resistance for me because he'd replace all the gameplay with alien monolouges and mundane conversation via codec.

It technically still exists because the PS3 can do HDMI 1.3 and the 360 1.2, but without any recievers, and only the current Samsung LNT xx61 and xx65 series of televisions doing 1.3 it cannot be used, there aren't even any 1.3 cables yet.

To answer one of your questions. I don't want a watered down port. I don't even really want MGS4. I played and owned the first three games and Kojima's lost his mind. He makes convoluted absurd storylines for the sake of it and the game is 8 hours of play and 11 hours of over-the-top cheesy cutscenes. I'll admit things got better gameplay wise in Snake Eater but even then the dialouge and plot got worse. The guy's in love with himself and as I said before arrogant.

Yeah because what is Konami without Kojima,because surely Konami doesnt have other hits like Dance dance revolution,castlevania,Yugioh and others.

In fact i think Yugioh card game makes more money than the entire MGS franchise.

Well thats an interesting "what if?" but i don't think R:fom or killzone would have been the same with Kojima in charge probably the story,enemies and whatnot would have been totally different.But i don't think Kojima is ever going to left his own company nonetheless Sony could pay Kojima productions for new game for the PS3 other than MGS.Also i have to say I've never ever played a bad Kojima game,Ac!2 was genius but extremely under-rated.

Sony could bribe more companies for exclusives,Dead rising almost goes multiplataform but MS paid Capcom so Dead Rising stay as x360 exclusive.Well is not official but C´mon did anyone thought for a second Capcom leave Dead rising as a x360 exclusive for their loyalty towards MS?.

BTW i loved Killzone PSP,i cant believe Guerrilla did such a lame game for the PS2 and such a great title for the PSP.Is like Metal slug but in 3D.

Really... because last time I checked there were plenty of respected multiplatform games - in fact, one of the highest rated games on the PS3, Oblivion, is on three different platforms. Being multiplatform isn't what makes a game good or not, it's the studio behind the game, and the development effort (money, time, and talent) they put into a game.

The real reason Sony fanboys want MGS4 to be exclusive isn't because multiplatform status would "water down the game" - Konami has already said the game wouldn't be watered down if it was to go multiplat - it's because it would be the deathblow for the PS3 - nothing more devastating could happen short of FF XIII & Versus going to the 360, or Sony discontinuing the PS3.

MGS4 is a huge distinguishing game for the PS3, hence why the fanboys on either side are so quick to post any tidbit of information they can on its (still UNOFFICIAL) platform status. Konami has yet to explicity say "this game will never ever be on any platform other than the PS3" - nor they have they said they are sure that they're making it multiplatform.

In fact, they haven't said a lot of anything, frankly they're doing what every other company holding a PS3 exclusive is doing - waiting to see if the PS3 sales situation turns itself around. If things don't improve, there's no question in my mind that MGS4 will come to hte 360 as well.

However, nothing official has been said, and the 360 fanboys are being idiotic by posting a story already shown to be false.
