MGS4 was the only one that deserved a 10.

topic, gta 4 was good but a 9 at best, havent played smg2, but i know that jumping over objects and onto mushrooms is not worthy of a 10. MGS4 was perfect, my god the moments, and my god the boss battles..... the experience was very memorable.

Deserve it or not it got a 10/10 and Mario 2 on the Wii also got a 10/10 which means PS3 and Wii both have a 10 while 360 enjoys its multiplats

All three deserved it becuase the reviewers thought they did.

Your opinion is duly noted. I can't speak to every 10, since I haven't played every game that scored a 10, but I'm sure most of them deserve the scores they got. And perhaps a few more that didn't get 10s also deserved it.

Between MGS4 and GTA4 I do think MGS deserved the ten more but GTA did deserve it too despite popular belief

And you can't just assume SMG doesnt deserve it because you know what assuming does

Wow it is kind of funny that the two games that got a 10 are sub HD so far this gen. Well actually three sub HD tens if you include GTA4 on the PS3. So three sub HD AAAA games and one HD 10 (GTA4 360) so far this gen.

um MGS4 is 720p MGO is what was sub-HD, but still i do see the funny in the fact that there was this big push for HDtv's and HD gaming when the highest rated games are 720p or lower

I think for the most part MGS4 and SMG2 both deserved 10 (actual more games deserved 10s)

GTA4, i just can't see why it got a 10. I loved the GTA series before 4, but I couldn't get into 4 (and I really tried). It jut felt like they took away most of what I liked about its predecessors.

Funny considering meta, and gamrankings say it's really the lowest rated "10" game from gamespot. So really one could say MGS4 was the one that least deserved a 10 and would have evidence to back it up with numbers rather then fanboy drivel.

Yeah...I disagree.

I'm not going to comment on SMG 2, seeing as I haven't played it (wouldn't want to make baseless assumptions on something I haven't played like the TC) but MGS 4 didn't deserve a 10 for a number of reasons as far as I'm concerned and GTA IV did.

But, that's just my opinion...
