MGS4 will keep every 360 game in a place for smaller and less advanced games

I have seen enough. If this E3 tells me anything it's that Microsoft cannot compete with Sony in the biggest and most advanced games department. The limitations of Xbox 360 is becoming loud and clear. No Cell, no Blu-ray and no standard Hard-disk support all prevent the 360 from having the following:

The most technologically advanced games.

The best sounding games.

The largest multiplayer games. For action games. For RPGs.

The most photorealistic game.

The best animation.

The best cutscenes.

The most realistic game.

Gears 2 comes close to getting away from Metal Gear Solid 4. But not enough. Off you go, Gears 2, to a place for other smaller and less advanced games. Watch Resistance 2 to learn a thing or two about huge boss fights and large multiplayer goodness.

this is bout 360 and ps3. and u cant compare pc to anything cuz it will for sure will hav the best graphics cuz its a dammm computer. all the games on console use a computer to ggenerate the games! of course its going to have good graphics. but 360 cant and wont do that.

umm ive finished mgs in 3-4 days, its online sucks, im done with it,and when gears 2 comes out ill be playing it for 2-4 months

In light of what I have seen so far this E3, I think this topic deserves its own thread especially considering all the threads unfairly attacking the PS3.

You may say the points are my opionions. But the if you read gaming sites, many and often, you will see that it's not just my opinion. Most non-fanboy websites has given or will give those advantages to the PS3. I am here because I like to read game news and enjoy a little discussion or two. I also genuinely believe the PS3 is a much better console for most gamers, especially if they own an HD TV. You can say the 360 has more games, but the PS3 now has more than enough games for most gamers to enjoy, exclusives and multiplats included. Gamers still need time to sleep, work, or study, right?

The advantages didn't help the xbox last gen because Microsoft had no reputation in gaming and xbox charges fees for LIVE. XBOX 360 also charges for LIVE and is now a weaker console. Not good in the long term console war.

Final Fantasy 13 cannot run on the 360 the way it was meant to be run...on a single disk. If Square genuinely took full advantage of the PS3 then the game should look and run better on the PS3.

And yet my 360 gets far more play time than my PS3. I'm still playing RSV2, Gears, Halo 3, etc. I sold MGS4 back a few days after I beat it. Great game, but I prefer MP, which is why I prefer XBL/360. One isn't surperior over the other, it just depends on which you prefer.

Why do you think the PS2 had a superior library? Because it had a larger install base and developers tend to support the console with the larger install base. The PS3's install base is gaining quickly against the 360. Minus LIVE fees, being more powerful, and having Blu-ray features, the PS3's install base will again be bigger than the 360. It should be of no surprise that the PS3 will have a superior library when it's all said and done. Most of the 3rd party exclusive have or will come to the PS3 as well. With Sony investing much more on 1st party exclusives, you can bet the PS3 will have better 1st party exclusives. Sony has a better long term exclusive strategy than Microsoft because it invests in first party rather than paying 3rd party.
