Michael Patcher XBL account gets hacked

GM writes: Looks like some hackers didn't take too kindly about Industry analyst Michael Patcher's predictions, most of which turns out to be complete duds.

i don't even have to read it to know it is social engineering and not hacking.

Well that made me smile a little, then I felt really bad.

I'm glad hackers are really accomplishing things these days. While they're at it, they should hack Yahoo GeoCities webpages and stick it to the man.

I just find this very sad. That people do hacking, viruses and spyware. Just think how much better the internet would be with out all these people doing this crap.

I just watched a big long thing on NBC last night about this. Just going to get worse and worse... Thanks to people who have nothing else to do in their lives but to cause trouble.

Yeah, hackers have no reason to hack XBL. They can hack it to get free microsoft points and services but there's no reason for them to totally bring the service down. In that sense, XBL is unhackable.

I was actually poking fun at the 360 fanboys that kept saying XBL couldn't be hacked in all the "PSN was hacked" threads. But for some reason soooooo many wanted to read more into it and ended up WAY out in left field while I was in right field.
