Microsoft and Nintendo wouldn't work. Microsoft is inerested in bringing the best graphics, community and features possible to the table, while Nintendo is only in it to make a quick buck off a cheap console. Microsoft and Sony I could see working well together though.Not-A-Stalker

I don't understand people like you. If you think Sony is worst than Microsoft or Nintendo, you're just deluding yourself. They're all the same, companies trying to make money.

I don't want any of those 3 to leave the games business. More competition means better games and services. Competition also drives the development of new technologies.

And I definitely don't want any company to dominate. We have enough of that in the PC industry.

They might but they would have to work at it. If Sony didnt have such strong competitors who were doing so many things right then they could have just laughed off all the problems besetting the PS3 and carried on as they were.  It is because there are better alternatives availible that Sony is in sucgh dire straits

If any of you knew anything about the market or business in general, then none of you would want less than 2 or 3 consoles to choose from, because without competition, whoever it is, is just gonna drag there feet and feed us garbage because hey, where else would we go for our fix if "y" company were the only ones in the business.

However that said, if Sony dropped out and Sega came back, I'd be happy as heck.  But I'm 99% sure that wont happen.

Also some other company that makes nearly everything under the sun, could jump in the ring as well..... maybe LG or Samsung or something.  As long as Nintendo survives I'll be happy... even though I'm a Lemming, its a well known fact that Nintendo means more to gaming than Microsoft and Sony combined does.

uh only nintendo is on fire right now, MS is feeling the burn from ninty as well, well after they announced they reached the 10 million mark i think they still have yet to actually pass it, if so not by much. if im not mistaken they forcaseted to be at at least 12 million at this time, and that was after they lowered it from 15 million.

ninty is just killing everthing in terms of sales, as far as quality goes though...Mandingo101

Nintendo is murdering both of them in the whole graphics vs gameplay thing. But Microsoft are a major reason why the PS3 is faltering. If the 360 wasnt stealing all the PS3's exclusives and providing the same graphics and games at a cheaper price the PS3 would be the only HD console on the market and they'd be doing far better overall.
