If some of these happen:
-A new Halo game is announced (prequel?)
-Halo 3: ODST shows gameplay of the campaign.
-Alan Wake shows gameplay
-Splinter Cell Conviction is reshown and the date announced + exclusive
-Metal Gear Solid 4: Oxide becomes a reality.
-Assassin's Creed / Dead Rising 2 / Lost Planet 2 are timed exclusives or get exclusive download content
-Grand Theft Auto IV:TBOGT shows gameplay footage
-Mass Effect 2 has gameplay shown
-Forza 3 is announced with a teaser trailer and/or date announced
-Rare announced a sequel/prequel to Perfect Dark, Conker, or Banjo.
-Shows off the new camera and how it will "revolutionize gaming" (lol)
-Star Wars: The Old Republic gameplay shown
-Half Life: Episode 3 is a PC/Xbox exclusive
Can anyone fault that line up?

Good prediction, but that's all that it is. It's pure speculation and some of that is just plain unreasonable and useless (timed exclusives).
I think MS remaining silent kills all kinds of hype and forces people to focus on Nintendo and Sony who have both offered us many reasons for us to be excited. We all know what to expect from them, and to me, MS remaining silent seems like a bad thing to do.
I strongly doubt they are going to blow us out of the water but we will have to wait and see.
MS is looking weak so far, but under all this Uncharted 2 and Wii talk, people are forgetting MS is promising Alan Wake, Forza, Halo, and GTA DLC.
The thing is, I'm much more excited for Sony and Nintendo and what we can expect from MS seems weak compared to what we can knowingly expect from Sony and Nintendo.
E3 always hides new games and other new things/rumors (Xbox Motion Camera, MGS to Xbox, etc), but all this is pure speculation. From what we DO know, all the hype is rightly around Sony and Nintendo
