Microsoft E3 confs was BIG disappointment!

At least that how I saw it, apart from the Halo above aveage trailer nothing there really made me excited. and 3/4 of the games that were shown were multiplatform! WTF?

I thought it was on Par with Sony's conf last year...

i'm wondering did microsoft have a press conference this year? i'm appalled.

You guys do realise E3 is a little different this year round.

Not sure if that has some bearing with the press conference.

I thought it was on Par with Sony's conf last year...

Thats a little excessive last year sony couldnt shutup about gimmicks and giant enemy crabs. Oh and 599 US dollars. Microsoft didnt show everyone gimmicks they showed games thats all they need to do.

Naw, it shouldn't have. MS just kept it simple and nice (though underwhelming). They just rehashed numbers and the games to release this year, with the exception of RE5.

No MGS4. No price drop. No FF XIII.

And Halo 3...well...didn't look better then Gears thats for sure.

For a new game "Scene it" the game comes with 4 remotes to play and I guess they look like rattles?

The thing that disappointed me the most was lack of 08 games. I think they mentioned a few 08 games at one time, but they just focused on 07 and did not present a lot of new stuff other than footage for the games.smokeydabear076

That's the thing about M$. They have no strategy like Sony and Nintendo. M$ is not planing a whole lot to get the new dollars. "Play our games it's fun" No new XBL feature? What about a new IP exclusive? What about a feature that separate you from your competitors? M$ is the worst gaming company IMO. They have no vision for what gaming should be in the future.

You really think they would show everything at once with a 5day show? You got to get a clue, even sony or nintendo wouldn't do that cause they need to ration so people say interested, heck killzone 2 was only shown today to take away from microsofts annoucements so microsoft played smart and didn't even show anything big.

If you want to think like a businessmen, don't show your best guns when sony is going to show theres, show everything shared behind multiplatforms so when sony comes around to show its bigs guns, microsoft can do the same and counter them at there own move and take away a line light from them.

The majority of the show is closed doors as well, it isn't an open event like people seem to think anymore, the best things at this show will be private viewings not public ones.

We'll you really think they would show all there guns on day one and use all the bullets on just day 1? be kinda pointless dont ya think, its like sony showing more then killzone 2 today it would have been pointless. They knew all they had to show to take away from microsofts event was killzone 2, so they showed it. Microsoft didn't show halo 3 single player today? why theres a group of bungie guys at the event and no halo 3 presentation? Microsofts probably going to do what sony has done to them and preview single player whilst there event is running just to 1up sony.

These guys are big businesses and know how to do these things, heck i think the majority of people are actually waiting to see whats being shown on the last 2 days more then the event shows of the big three cause thats when alot of the good content comes out is in the last days.
