I think it speaks volumes that they are not about making or allowing games, but about buying games. They are in the finance business, not in the gaming business.

To have a studio is different from paying for timed exclusivity. To know something or to pay for something is different. MS has very little talent and knowledge of gaming. They lost most of that. It's telling.

Here's how E3 is going to go for you lemmings. 1. You'll tune in with a gross bottle of mountain dew and some snacks. 2. You'll have a second tab opened with system wars with the first tab being E3 Live stream 3. MS will come on stage and start showing data and talking and talking 4. You'll be waiting and say okay good good, buh where are the games... 5. MS is still talking and you're still watching... 6. MS says thanks for coming and goodbye 7. You're shocked and still thinking "buh buh where are the games???" 8. Then you'll come on system wars to update us on how many Buildings SONY as sold...to distract us from the fact that you still had nooooooo freakling games....and then we'll respond with mocking you with this...

That really makes no sense. If you buy a MS console you want MS to bring great games to it. However they get those games doesn't mean a damn thing as long as they do. Nintendo, Sony, and MS are corporations looking to make a profit. Neither is better or worse than the other.

so does MS pay them to make games and then they just don't make games and pocket the money? Something isn't connecting in your logic. Both SONY and MS pays for games and yet you guys rarely have any.

You think all companies are equal because they are after your money? There are companies who scam people for money but they are just as good as the companies who don't? Their methods do definitely matter to me.

Then you must not game at all if thats the case cause we can go all day discussing the criminal acts MS and Sony have done, lol. Or you can just buy yhe game system you want and stop trying to make one company a saint and the other a sinner. Trust me, not even Nintendo has clean hands if you look closely enough.

What you juts said makes no sense. Do you think Sony bakes games in a oven, or do you think they pay their developers to make them? If you believe the latter then the same fits for MS paying their developers and third party. The only difference is MS has deeper pockets while Sony is having a garage sale every quarter to get outta debt :) MS's gaming talent is translated in the multi-million seller exclusive franchises they have, the 48 million who game on Xbox Live, and the business decision that have them operating in the black for the last 5 years.

I don't think you come from a business background. MS cannot just throw money at devs no matter how much they have. Stockholders want profit......

Lol, but its true. I may want a Xbox One, but I'm not naive about MS practices over the years or Sony's If there is one thing we can all agree on its that we don't support some My Little Pony innocent company, lol.

Business will do what it can get away with.....which is why I'm anti X1. Why aren't you? Because you liked the last gen? So what. New gen....new problems. Nintendo found out. Sega found out. Sony found out somewhat......MS will as well. It's the cycle of life. You want MS to be a gaming force in the future? Then let them right now they're on the wrong track.

Unless you and the other cows care to share your time machine :) MS track record for buying third party exclusives (Gears of War, Mass Effect 1 at the time of its release) are pretty good. We shall have to wait and see but if it aint broke they won't fix it. Multiplats sell more than exclusives and MS will buy more of them, period. Its been a successful business model thus far. If they limit the install base to just the few hard core Xbox fanboys....they won't be seeing profit.

Xbox One is being prepped for core and casual gamers, football and Fifa fans, tech fans, families, moms and dads and everyone else. Its the ability to do so many things that will IMO make the Xbox One a greater success than the PS4 which wants gamers only. Xbox One will have 85% of all the games on PS4 plus 15 of its own exclusives in the first year, as well as a wealth of features that will appeal to more than the gamer. Hence the solid preorders in the US and UK, as well a positive mainstrream press. No I don't know if the games will be good, but you don't know if they will be bad either :)

MS has never been the console for the casuals...it's main demographic has always been the gamer. As for preorders....they don't mean much. People just want to hold a slot so they get one at launch. Doesn't mean they can't cancel.

If they limit the install base to just the few hard core Xbox fanboys....they won't be seeing profit.LJS9502_basic

Lol, doesn't mean they will either. And like you said earlier, this is the present and future we are talking about. The Xbox One has a much broader demographic its going after than the 360 did when it came out.

[QUOTE="shawn30"][QUOTE="whathursthemost"] hjonestly I hope one day you lemmings realize how stupid you sound with discussing stocks and accounting in a gaming forum. fFirst of all, if you have to bring up anything abolut finance besides sales, that means your company fawking sucks pure balls...and second of all, it's sad and obvious that the only reason you're defending them is because you want to justify your crappy decision making skills. And third of all you're DEFENDING them. Hey it's okay to charge us fees and shpow us ads and give us no games and make us pay to use things we're already paying for, just as long as you stockholders and profiting. Who cares about games? Who wants games on a gaming console these days anyways?? that's how dumb you guys soundwhathursthemost
Cows and English, facts, and common sense don't mix. No way I'm arguing with that wall of stupid, lol :)

lol typographical errors. Ooh big deal. Cause you're so perfect, huh? You lemmings are the most stupid and most invalid of all system wars factions...Guessing you were all in hiding until the xb1 reveal?

Yes. But that doesn't mean it will work for them. Look at Nintendo, the Wii, and casuals.

I didn't say that...but some Xbox fans are acting like it's fact....rather than taking a wait and see approach....the logical alternative. . Oh.....that emoticon you use in all your posts is a bit creepy and makes you appear passive aggressive.

No one can guarantee anything as both systems are likely 6 months from release. We all just post what we think may happen based on our opinion of whats know and rumored about each system. And I like to smile :)
