Microsoft Home To Most Exclusives

Very interesting to say the least.

Earlier in the week, a massive pre-E3 leak sprung, flooding the internet with what seems like future Microsoft announcements. But apparently the company has more up its sleeve! According to Microsoft ladies man Aaron Greenberg:

We have not announced all of our line-up yet for 2008 but will provide more details at E3 next month... Xbox 360will continue to be the home to blockbuster games and the most exclusives... By the end of the year we will have over 1,000 games available for Xbox 360, which will be 2-3 times more than any other platform.

Bet Greenberg says that to all the girls.

and how did they lie?

was the game developed by them? was it published by them? do they have any power over what third party devs choose to do?

My point is Microsoft does put that stamp on their games boxes, they should not have put "only on xbox 360 and PC" on the box if it was being developed for PS3

they are lots of timed exclusive games like Lost Planet who dont have the stamp on it because development was being made for both consoles, just 360 had a timed deal

its unethical

I am a bit surprised some speculation has not developed here, I mean, MS is holding exclusives for 2008 yet to be revealed until E3 !

C'mon gamers - what could they be as I never expected the MS announcements during E3 to include games for street dates in 2008 ! :o

AHAHAHAHAHAHA. Over 1000 games...doesn't it have like 400-500 announced and release games at the moment? Riight so they are going to double that in half a year...think not.bobbetybob

EDIT: wait... what if by this they are hinting that the rumours that MS will buy sega are true? think about ever master system, gamegear, megadrive, sega cd, 32x, sega saturn and dreamcast game sega ever made on XBL :|

considering that many 360 games also have a Games for Windows version, its true to say that MICROSOFT has the most exclusives.-GhostMLD-

not that old one again...... they port everything to the PC which is a different platform. 360 loses all its good exclusives.

Actually, Bioshock dev spoke, he said MS payed them for timed exclusitivity and they signed a contract where they couldn't state it was soon coming to PS3...

Sorry no it doesn't but even adding those it only boosts it to about 600. Doubt the SEGA thing, It'd make more sense for Nintendo to buy them, they seem to be giving Wii quite a lot of support and they work well with Nintendo and seem to like developing Wii games.

Something else to think about.....Regardless of "SOME" devs opinion, (morel like spin, trying to cover the truth up ) there ARE development problems of ALL sorts in Japan right now...and with all the devs that have ALREADY come over to Microsoft, this could be the start of MANY more coming over...wich would just fuel the "topics" theme= even more exclusives heading this way.

Poor (f)ony, losing their support left and right....all because of Poor business decisions and HORRIBLE customer relations attitudes(as stated in my prior thread("you take what we WE say...you like what WE say"...says (f)ony).

SONY's worse. Remember their Assassain's Creed E3 extravaganza? That wasn't even a timed exclusive. Just complete BS from SONY. How about DMC4?

Microsoft is home to exclusives I don't care about. I'll take MGS4, Tekken 6, inFAMOUS, GOW3, FF13/vs13, WKS etc over GeOW2, Too Human, NG2, Fable 2, Banjo 3 anyday.Swift_Boss_A
