Sony had some problems with the PS2. Microsoft has done a good job at taking care of 360 owners with a 3 year RROD warnety

Wow, a class action lawsuit against microsoft by a small group of disgrunteled gamers and their evidence comes from website articles and gaming magazines, this isn't going to go very far, especally since you can't trust magazine and internet articles because you can't tell if they're lying in order to improve the image of a console/company they like, or to get their 15 seconds of fame.

Don't forget Microsoft isn't the only one who has released defective consoles.

Atari: Remember the Atari 5200's controler, that broke after an hour of game play: No Lawsuit.

Nintendo: The NES/Famicom was released in the US with defective parts. People have actually gotten hurt using the Wii-Mote: No lawsuit

Sony: The PS2 had techincal problems as well, as does the new PSP model, and let's not forget that update that caused some PS3s to meltdown: Once again no lawsuit

Sega: The 32X had plenty of mechanical problems, and some were even incompadible with certain TVs and Genesis models, or could actually damage Genesis Cartridges: Once again No Lawsuit

But lets be real about this, If they didn't care about the consumer, they wouldn't have spent so much for the repairs. Something Sony could never do when the PS2 had so many DRE problems. The 360 has had it's faults, maybe they were known before launch, maybe the report came from a disgrunteled employee. Who cares, they are taking care of it. Thats all I care about. They hours on end gaming i have with two nephews that live a couple hours away is worth it. Besides, the games and Live are 2nd to none. If I have to deal with sending in my console a couple times, then so be it. It's FREE!

Yes MS messed up, they've paid the pipper with billions in repair costs, and lost sales, and they've done all they can do to solve the problem. This lawsuit is more then likely going to be thrown out because of lack of evidence, since they're evidence are video game magazines and web site articles, all of which can't really be trusted. I mean 16% is still a very low number, what about the 84% who haven't had problems, and stand behind the 360?
