And they had a flawed contract with nVidia, over which they ended up spending about a year in court fighting over what nVidia was charging for xbox chipsets. nVidia was pretty much able to charge MS whatever they wanted, becuase they had the rights to the chip design. I hear that MS didn't make that mistake with the 360.
where is your link to how long it took them to lose it.i mean come on you refuse to say that microsoft lost alot of money and they still dont have it back. the 360 doesnt make as much profit as you wish it would. but the fact is that they can afford the loss such as mirosoft can, the ps3 is going no place. micro. and sony have so much more than games to make a profit on.

Microsoft's gaming division will be profitable from 2008. There is a link, I just cant find it. Sony has already spent their PS2 earnings (and then some) on the PS3, and they wont see a return for awhile (if ever). Enough with the damage control.
1. At least at some point in time SOny has made money in the gamming market.
 2. A company losing money and the chance of  low lvl employies being layed off= not cool so why is it so hilarius that a company is loosing billions of Dollars.
3. Halo 3 currently blows and will probley flop more then SPiderman 3.
