These threads about consoles losing exclusives is stupid. especially about the ones how 360 took all of the ps3's OBVIOUSLY the ps3 has more exclusives left REAL exclusives then microsoft does. most of the 360 exclusive arent exclusive they will be on PC. 360 has lost more exclusives then the ps3. quit saying it the other way around. its not a big deal either way more people can play the great games. these threads are a joke. assassins creed was never a ps3 exclusive by the way. you got DMC4 congrats i hope you guys have fun with the game. anyone wants to post the REAL exclusive list between the two consoles go for it. the ps3 will win in that department everyone knows. ps2 had way more games it wont be different with the ps3e20Dylan
Thats why am not getting a 360 am just going to get all the 360 games on the PC Â
The PC is NOT a microsoft gaming platform. The operating system gives them no ownership of these titles what so ever. The 360 is a platform manufactured, distributed, and supported by microsoft. The PC is NOT a platform manufactured, distributed, and supported by Microsoft. Games for windows is a viral marketing campaign PAID FOR by Microsoft that gives them no ownership of said titles. The PC is a seperate platform, these games are MULTIPLAT.Microsoft still has bioshock exclusive, on 360, and windows vista. eternal sonata wtf?. Ninja gaiden is a 4 year old port. Halo 2 is still exclusively microsofts only on vista and Xbox

Eternal Sonata is 100% ONLY on 360
Bioshock is ONLY on 360/pc
Ninja Gaiden 2 is in the making ONLY for 360, as ALL Team Ninja other games
Halo 2 is on pc YEARS after on xbox, are you kidding ?
All in all this thread failed from the title
Â
Plus WHO CARES if 360 looses those games anyway ? Noone cared that lost Oblivion, in fact noone cares if 360 looses any game, what i care is that i can plya FF13 on my 360 looking best, something that could not happen on the underpowered PS3

My advice to the Sony faithful is to buy more games. If devs believe there may at least be a chance to break even on a game they may actually release it on your system. I know that the prevailing Sony fan logic on Condemed and SR is that you don't care but even if you don't care about those games the point is you guys are not buying enough games since many PS3 owners are not gamers but movieophiles that got it as a cheap BD player.
You can try to misdirect whats going on all you like the simple truth for the moment is devs can't make money releasing games on the PS3.

good thing my PC wont give me 3 red lights. or else id be pretty mad :Pe20Dylan correct. your PC will give you exploding bombs, blue-screens, .dll errors/missing .dll's, "unknown crashes" occuring, viruses, spyware, adware, hardware incompatabilities, performance issues depending on the make and model of motherboard and memory you're using, HDD failures destroying years of valuable data, etc. etc.etc. etc. etc.

That Tag isnt ownership, but it alienates the competition.Â

So by that turn of the coin, the platform belongs to Valve, Epic, and ID.That's not the same thing. Valve, Epic, and ID only get royalties for games made on their engine. Microsoft gets money for every single game sold on the Xbox 360, regardless of who makes it or whose engine is used for it. That is because they have full control over the platform, so it's their platform.
Unless there's something about Games for Windows that I don't know (which I doubt), Microsoft gets no money for games sold on PCs that they don't have some kind of direct involvement with. As a result, the PC is an open platform that Microsoft doesn't control. Â

Dreams-Vision: You raelize there are millions of other companies that benefit from it as well. By that logic, they own the platform as well.Vandalvideo
lots of companies benefit. Microsoft benefits the most. A sheer peek at their net earnings from last quarter help us further understand that anything that advances the prevalence and omnipresence of Windows is good for Microsoft. And while some know that they can put another OS on their PC, that's simply too much for 90% of computer users, so as far as they are concerned, PC = Windows. Whether that's the truth to the letter of the law is inconsequential. It's what peole think that creates their reality.

There's some truth to what you're saying there, because if Microsoft didn't benefit from PC gaming, they wouldn't be pushing it as much as they have been of late. But they definitely benefit more from games sold on the 360 than games sold on the PC, because the PC benefits are much more indirect and less tangible.Â
The way it probably works out on a benefit scale is something like Xbox 360 >> PC >>>> everything else. Â
