Looks very cool indeed. Not too sure on how much of an impact AR could having in the gaming space but I am more interested in it then I am for VR. Will probably always still just prefer the typical flatscreen gaming though.

All the skeptics will be using things like this in a decade. Just like they said they would never own a smartphone, they'll be wrong about this too.

I think AR will be a big thing one day, mainly because it might have big applications outside gaming. Imagine wearing a pair of glasses and it helping you navigate where to walk to get somewhere you have never been, help you find where to find something in a grocery store, whatever, have it make life like a video game.

There's a little thing called a GPS.

Why would it be for XS when it's not even aimed at gaming (as of yet)?

We've been down this road with HoloLens. MS needs to put up or shut up with this tech.

Gamers need to get out of their basements. AR and Digital Twin. Look it up. Then look 5+ yrs down the road and realize that just like the smartphone made the cell phone obsolete, so too will the AR phone make the smartphone obsolete. Gaming is a trivial and irrelevant component of AR and it won't lead the way. The current primary driver, in that real money is now being spent on AR, is the industrial sector and is because there are $trillions invested in plant and machinery all of which requires maintenance....which Digital Twins and AR will revolutionize.

I still don't understand why MS doesn't open up Xbox to 3rd party VR units or their own. It'd almost kill PSVR off, aside from their exclusives. 3rd party VR games would probably look better on a 3rd party VR headset running on Series X then PSVR2 on PS5. Plus you'd have a ton of options as far as which headset you can afford or want.
