Microsoft needs to buy Insomniac!!...Let me elaborate

It would be a great counter to Naughty Dog and might spur platformer war between Ratchet and Jak [Ratchet wins imo] and I would trust insomniac to make a new Conker.

I don't think Insomniac wants to be bought, Sony has got to be looking at them for a long time as well.

Besides, are you aware that ND and Insomniac are very close? I think they worked together in the early times of both companies.

I think it would be a great idea. Microsoft really needs the first party support, and Insomniac pulls out a game a year. Although, the 360 would never have R&C games and Resistance games, unless Microsoft bought them from sony. Even if they didn't, Insomniac could make a new platformer. If it had the originality of R&C, it would be awesome.

I'd really disagree. Ratchet and Clank is an amazing platformer. The problem with it though is the lack of innovation as the series has gone foward.

He is not soley responsible for SMG it was a group efort and he is a major 1st party dev... Insomniac is not owned by sony and Ps2 Ratchets rocked

Besides, Insomniac doesn't own R&C IP, Sony does. Even if Insomniac was making third party games, or bought by MS to make Xbox games, it's not like they'd take Ratchet with them.

If Insomniac wanted to sell itself off, they would have sold to Sony long ago. They like being independent.

Conker Remake >Starfox last gen and alot of their work this gen is better Nintendo destroyed the N64 Rarenot MS the Perfect Dark team left because nintendo and Silicon Knights ditched Nintendo as did Factor 5. People do not like being mistreated

I hope Insomniac gets completely bought out by them, then Insomniac can make Kinect games, and they can go the same route as Ensemble and Rare.

No. I like Insomniac but Naughty Dog has always been one step ahead of Insomniac. And while they shared similar ambitions in gaming last gen and the gen before they kind of went separate ways now. Insomniac is torn between the cute and cuddly Ratchet and Clank and the Halo wannabe Resistance series, while Naughty Dog is aiming for the PG-13 summer action flick adventure game.

MS let Bungie go,closed Ensemble studios and have Rare making Kinect games now. Yet you want them to buy Insomniac???!!! God no!!! Insomniac is fine being independent.
