Microsoft needs to stop nickel and diming us!

I own xb1

i saw the call of duty bundle thought it looked very sexy to me anyway

the controller the console the lil art touches it felt like when i bought the darth vader psp i was very excited

i got home unwrapped it it makes this stupid loud sound when i turn it on

the controller is light as crap compared to the 360 one an feels like a kids toy (i dunno what happened)

yes it feels comfortable i like the smallness of it overall and the d-pad an the analogs feel great the controller feels lame tho an plasticy its not strong at all

it ran out of batteries like right away like literally played for a couple hours and it was like telling my batteries at 50% and not long after they were drained an low level

microsoft made it so my xbl code didn't work for atleast 3 weeks so i had to pay microsoft EVEN tho i had a code for 15 free days that just never worked

they knew it didn't work they wanted my money to play online an they got it

im sick of em

they made me go buy the battery charger/cord for 25 bux there i spent 60 on xbl

i spend 60 on MCC which was bugged an they didn't beta the multiplayer or test it at all an rushed it out the door so i would throw money at them

and who knows if they are actually gonna "fix" it its been weeks now an i still own im scared to get a refund

it took me 1 full day to download the games i had leave the console on and sit there for hours as it downloaded

I COULD NOT play multiplayer games while it was downloading as i guess that was too much for this console to handle

basically yes i payed 60 dollars to sit around an download crap instead of go disc an instantly install an play

i know for fact i should have payed less steam woulda charged me like 40-50 dollars for these games an got it to be super quick no hassle

MS is making me download at low speeds an cheesing there way to make more money

they purposely try to nickel an dime an charge super high prices for things they know we need like online an stuff

they give us crap discounts right now theres one discount which is total crap for tomb raider and theres 2 games that i dont ever wanna play that are free

they gave me stupid backgrounds for my computer that nobody would ever use they are sucky wall papers its says xbox one on it i would rather put a movie poster on my wallpaper or something good looking this is crap an they know

some 10 year old prolly made that xbox one year wallpaper it didn't even look good

no microsoft start being kind like sony START being kIND MS to gamers like us that bought ur crap give us good deals, stop overcharging, stop screwing us over an making us pay for things that we shouldn't have to pay that much for

sony is being in the middle just being reasonable while ms like way in the corner going all out on greed an sonys like ill just stand here in the middle an look as not as bad u know what i mean?

In fairness my glacier white PS4 would scratch if I just imagined doing it. The plastic is bogus. It doesn't detract from my gaming experience. I also weathered the Driveclub shitstorm and am enjoying it like hell, so you'll get over it hopefully!

They have your money, sucks for you. Should have gotten a PS4, at least you could have played while you were downloading. Or stayed on Steam. XBox One's exclusives keep ending up there.

@ProtossRushX: I too bought an xbox one recently. The loud noise was fixed after the recent update. Apparently the Kinectless versions have a weird noise when first booting up, I was worried too but all is well after the update. The controller is awesome. But hey, you're entitled to your opinion.

is it that bad? i bought it but still haven't opened it. maybe I should go with another game while I can still return it for a full refund, hows gta 5 on next gen? i wasn't too impressed with my ps3 version.

hmmm, Forza Horizon 2, Sunset Overdrive, EA Access, MCC (single player), online that is generally cheaper than ps+, a quiet machine, great controller....i'm not seeing a problem here.

You can't play ps4 games online either when it needs updating and it takes forever lmao so does not matter which you have still and as if Sony ain't nickel and dining you either you have to buy extra chargers and A USB hub to charge all four controllers at once id take aa batteries over a internal one anyway cause once that Ps4 controller is discontinued and your batteries wear out bye bye

I stopped at "too light controller". For those of us who prefer comfort to "realism" (or whatever stupid reason you have for wanting a heavier controller), a lighter controller can be held for longer periods of time without hand/wrist fatigue.

Alright. I'm seeing a lot of words there so it's deterring me from reading the OP, but from the very little I've read it seems like you bought an Xbone and expected to be happy with your purchase.

In all seriousness though, you just seem to be nitpicking about small things. Xbone is going to be different than the 360, try to get used to the changes first before criticizing them. It sucks you had problems with the 15 free days code, but there are always work-arounds by contacting support.

Don't really see what your problem is. PS4 games take the same amount of time to download (it all depends on your internet speed), you also have to pay to play online with PSN, and the controller is great - but we all have our own opinions. I really don't see why there are still so many Xbox One haters out there. I got a PS4 at launch but haven't even turned it on since I got my Xbox in August. I've had an absolute blast with Titanfall, Forza 5, Forza Horizon 2, Sunset Overdrive, and Halo. There has been only ONE good PS4 exclusive since launch: Infamous. And I beat that in about a week and have had no desire to play it again. Everything else is mutlplatform. Andddd the Xbox has tons of great apps that the PS4 does not.

Xbone is especially great for ordering pizza. Killer reason to go xbox right there.

Anyway, I sort of agree with your position, but when I get fed up with how companies do their business, I simply stop giving my money to them, and I instead give it to someone else who does business the way I like. I hate being nickled and dimed just as much as the next guy, but sometimes you have have to stop yourself and say, "Why am I doing this?" No one is forcing your hand to spend that money. :-P

I gave up on the xbox brand during 360. Three consoles during 5 years? **** you MS.

I'm back on PC + Wii U. As a console maker, Nintendo never fucked me. At least their hardware is good.

You do realize TC that trial codes don't work if you have ever been a Gold subscriber or don't extend your existing Gold account? I'm pretty sure MS wrote that in their ToS.
