While i agree that kinect is cool tech but i don't see why anyone would want to play forza on it. Why not just play it with a steering wheel that way you at least get a bit of feedback through the wheel. But hey this is coming from someone who has no interest in motion control.

I agree completely. This is exactly why I think the Sony Move strategy is the worst of all of them. Do you really want to be swinging your sword around for hours on end in a core game? I think not. All of this Move support for core titles is bum fluff. It isn't just the what you do and how you do it that is different with motion controls, there is also how long you do it for. Party games, switching turns/players, groups of people...these are all suitable fits for motion controls that require you to get up.
There will be plenty of good motion control titles in there own right, but Forza, KZ3, etc are going to bite hard with motion controls or be nothing more than add-on gimmicks. Which is why I don't see how the Sony strategy works in the long term. It is going to become apparent very quickly that Move will not be particularly useful to core games.
With MS it is clearer that they are differentiating between core and Kinect, and the controller free aspect at least potentially offers future hybrid paths where Kinect is used in conjunction with a controller. Therein lies the main difference. Both are substitutes for conventional controllers; however, only one offers the possibility of being a complement, not just a substitute.
