Microsoft, Rockstar keeping quiet on GTA4 DLC release

Well it looks like were not getting it as soon as we hoped

Xbox 360 owners hoping for fresh Grand Theft Auto IV missions this fall might have to wait until next year.

"I suggest you contact Rockstar for comment on this," said a Microsoft representative in an email to GamePro last week, unwilling to confirm the company's autumn promise from a week earlier.

This is pretty much too late for me because my excitement for this had died a long time ago. I have moved on to other games.;)-DarthMaul-

They didn't "pay" them they gave them an advance kind of like when a publisher gives an author an advace on a book that is being written . There is a story about it on gamespot on Ign or somewhere if ya google it.

Banjo is in Novemeber, as well as Tomb Raider, and Mirror's Edge. Three high quality platformers in the span of two weeks within each other. Hell yeah!

Don't take it so serouisly. Im pretty sure alot of gamers will have moved on by then. MS really should have got this DL content out sooner before other "better" things arrived. They seem to not even care. Its a horrible markting stadegy if you ask me. Unless.........

i think GTA4 DLC excitiment died when the game released...

It was really a undeserving 10 agreed upon everyone.

It seemd that it was one of those games noone will touch again after beating it..

me for one found it extremly boring, hating the characters and all

now your twisting my words. Im pretty sure out of that 8 million there will be alot won't that don't care.

As for the business startegy, I'd say Microsoft isn't foolish enough to release this during a holiday season.... it's likely to release during a gaming drought, like in the summer.
